My daughter is currently a sophomore at Andrada and we have loved the last two years! All of the teachers my daughter has had are great and very supportive especially in the honors and AP classes. The pathways give students the opportunity to learn to think for themselves and give real life experience. I love that they are bringing opportunities for sports back to the students. This school gives students a great education, skills, and a high school experience without the pressure students face at large high schools.

Andrada has been a wonderful place to be at simply because of the sense of community that is brought to students and teachers. The teachers are 100% dedicated to their students and it is noticeable through their teaching and instruction. The teachers are supportive of the students in everything that they do and it shows. I love seeing the relationships the teachers create with their students because it provides that sense of comfort and safety that is important for the students success. The students are ready to learn. They have great work ethics and they are ready to push forward to their education and future careers. It is a wonderful school that maintains high expectations for everyone while also maintaining a strong professional atmosphere that is both challenging and nurturing.

Entering campus feels like entering a community college. And it is most definitely a community! Teachers expect students to be responsible for their homework, etc, but are always willing to give assistance; they genuinely care about the students’ success in all their classes. The Pathways offer opportunities not found in “traditional” high schools, giving students employable skills, and getting them to start thinking about the possibilities beyond high school - they graduate well prepared for college, the military, or a career. There are still the fun, traditional aspects of high school - homecoming, sports, dances, spirit weeks, and all kinds of clubs for almost every interest.

Great school with good academics. Student wise there aren't the best people at Andrada. From a Seniors view there is a lot of bullying and harassment at Andrada and it's just not cool. No great pwoooe there either and many of them are fake from me and many other people's perspective.

Andrada Polytechnic High School is an absolutely amazing high school and a wonderful addition to the Vail School District. My daughter started her sophomore year in 2012 when the school opened and will graduate 2015 from the Bioscience program. She has also been able to take her Bioscience class as U of A college credits. The teachers are all wonderful, the campus is state of the art, and even the cafeteria has great food. We could not be happier with the level of education she is being provided at this school.

Excellent school and staff. Clean and beautiful campus . Staff is caring and goes above and beyond to help students and parents. Great community and amazing school district. I am very lucky to be able to send my son to Andrada .

Our family loves Andrada. The staff is friendly and very helpful. My daughter has thrived here since starting her junior year here. I am so glad she ended up transferring here. She will be ready for college in the fall. The medical assisting has been great and she loves it! We look forward to the next 4 years as her sister starts here this fall.

Our Daughter transferred to Andrada this year as a junior from an out of state high school. She has thrived since arriving. Her teachers have instilled in her a love of learning and a drive to succeed that was not there before. Her chosen pathway is her passion and will give her a firm foundation for her future. My son is happy with his High School, as it offers something different, a Rock Band Class. He has really taken to playing the electric guitar, and here he gets to, and learn from a certified teacher for free, along with performing. What a great opportunity in a public school!

Andrada Polytechnic High School is a top-notch high school. I was so happy when my daughter decided to transfer over during their first year as a junior and be part of the first graduating class. Their vocational tracks has made the difference in giving my child a vision of what she wants to do with her life and a path to make it happen. The limited amount of students, access to facilities and teachers, and the school design is very conducive for learning and building a self-worth where the student feels like they are the focus.

My son loves this school. I love the "freedom with responsibility" philosophy and am hopeful that it pays off when he goes to college!

The philosophy of the school is Freedom with responsibility. The students are learning the meaning of taking responsibility for the homework, their grades, their relationships, their time management. They are rewarded for their success. Administration focuses on the 95% of the students that do well as opposed to the 5% that may not. The campus does not have fences to keep the kids in; they truly want to be there!

Andrada is the best high school in Arizona! It is not only an A rated school, but more importantly it is a big family.

Andrada Polytechnic High School has been such a wonderful addition to the Vail Arizona community. We chose this school to enroll our daughter in because of the great advancements it has to offer in real life employment options after High School. We have been very impressed with the strides Andrada has made in its short time being in Vail, to include such a positive impact on the community as a whole. The teachers and staff are very helpful and involved and always go the extra mile to help in every situation which arises. We have hugely appreciated the Principals active involvement and constant communication regarding everything going on at the High School and community. She is a person to greatly look up to and other leaders should model themselves after. We are pleased that our daughter was accepted into this school and will continue to supports all Andrada's efforts to better the children and their academic success. We are very thankful we have the opportunity to be partnered with such a great school!

Students at this school choose a Career Track that they study along with the core classes much like a major in college. I have 2 students in the school and both have buy-in that I have not seen at other schools. Both are in different Career Tracks and both are excited and motivated by the things that they are learning. Perhaps, best of all, both will have a skill when they graduate that they can either go to work in or use as leverage for getting into the colleges of their choice. Some of the faculty I am not thrilled about but most are good to excellent, and the staff is very nice and responsive to the needs of parents.

APHS has provided an innovative opportunity to advance education at the HS level, by providing real work opportunities for these kids. The curriculum allows students to gain certifications in various areas of training. Legal,medical and even automotive certification training provides these kids an opportunity to participate in real world work. Thanks Andrada!
