There is zero discipline at Trinity HS, and the current administration cares more about test scores than creating a good learning environment. Unfortunately, the focus on the STAAR/EOC tests is useless when there are no consequences for the students horrible behavior. Students are not held accountable for anything that they do, they are openly disrespectful to teachers and administration, and there are fights regularly.

If the teachers could teach instead of parenting their students they would have much more time to spend with the students who want to learn! I would be ashamed if my children acted the way that many students behave at our schools! To many parents use our teachers and schools as a babysitter! They do not want to be bothered with their children at home much less care about what they do or how they act in public! All of my children went to trinity schools and now my grandchildren! But then our children have been raised knowing their place and what is exspected of them! And the staff at our schools didn't scare them half as much as their Momma and her wooden spoon nor that bar a soap! Huh, What nor whatever and especially ya are not in our childrens vocabulary! Mam and sir best be coming out those lips....Don't blame our schools because of your inadequate parenting skills! GO TIGERS!

Trinity is a good school with a bad rap...Our teachers have definitely not "given up". We as a community and school need to stop bad-mouthing ourselves and making apologetic excuses for where we live and go to school. Have some pride and stop the self-fulfilling prophecy of doom. I love Trinity Texas and I am proud to say that my children go to school in the Trinity ISD and excel academics and athletics...

Academicaly unacceptable according to state rating. The teachers have given up. The students, for the most part uncontrollable. The emphasis is on sports not academics.

Most of the teachers are very disrespectful over the littlest things in the world. I would much rather be at any school in the state than here. I have been here for 10 years now and I am very disappointed in where my parents decided to live and the school that I must go to. I can guarantee that when I can I will switch school. We have a couple of fights every week. That is pretty bad when there is less than 350 students in the school. The only good thing about this school is that you know everyone and most of your teachers went to school with you parents.
