Check out this school's Employment page. Another mass exodus at the end of the school year. Link after link of open positions. The reason? The pay is great but the students are awful. They haven't figured out that they need to treat teachers with respect if they expect those teachers to stay beyond a year. Some of the administrators could stand to learn that lesson too.

This school is the complete embodiment of total apathy. The students don't care about anything school-related. Many don't even show up. Of the ones who do, you'll be lucky to get any work out of them. Sadly, they learn this behavior from their adult "role models." The unemployment rate in the community hovers around 36% while jobs for school janitors and bus drivers go unfilled. Hey - hard work is for suckers, right? The administration doesn't help teachers to combat this apathy, either. The admins stick their heads in the sand and ignore what's going on in the classrooms. They're so afraid of offending the local community that they refuse to enforce serious disciplinary consequences, even for the most outrageous offenses.

Do NOT work for this school. It changes administrators more often than you change your socks. Most of the students refuse to do any sort of schoolwork and the attendance rate hovers around 75%. This means that the average student takes a personal day every week. Offenses that would earn a long-term suspension or expulsion at any other school get a slap on the wrist at the revolving door that is Baboquivari, and the offender will be back in class before you know it. Expect that students will ignore you, defy you, and call you the foulest names imaginable. The pay is excellent, but "what does it profit a man to gain the whole world but lose his soul?"

If you value education, do not ever send a student here or work here. The admin doesn't have a clue about what happens in the classrooms and doesn't want to change anything that is broken about. The community also doesn't care about the school. Students do not show up for class and, even if they do, they rarely do work. They abuse the teachers and do any number of things on campus that would get kids kicked out or worse at other school. STAY AWAY!
