I would honestly rate this school a two star school. I attended this school from K-8 and I loved it back then but when you have a child that has ADHD or any other condition, the compassion for your child to learn is not their. Yes they have programs that are put in place to help child learn, but they are not effective. They do not care it the black children learn. I was at a program at church and the children were reading, these children were in 6th-8th grade and their reading was terrible! Everyone noticed. All of these children attended Toone Elementary School. Their programs are ineffective. The most of the children are not learning like they should. As a parent at this school and you do not belong to a certain group, you will not find out what is going on until it is too late. If your child attends this school make sure you are very active with your this school and your child. Do not forget to ask questions.

I have three boys that have attended here, two still do, the teachers are great and only complaint I have ever had is the heavy homework load given. These kids are spending 8 hrs at school and some nights don't have time to wind down due to the heavy homework load.

Compassionate staff are extremely dedicated to the education of each individual child by working together as a faculty team and effectively communicating with families.
