    Replying to the last review. Thank you for your thoughts. This was a difficult time for our school as we did not have a Principal in place. I can guarantee that things are running smoothly and we have wonderful educated staff that works well with students, parents and our community. If you would like to stop in sometime to visit with me, I would be happy to show you what our school is all about.

    St. Mary’s School was once a great gem in community. My children loved the school and the teachers. Mrs. Lee was a phenomenal teacher and principal. She poured her heart and soul into the school it truly showed. Since her retirement the school seems to be falling apart. Staff are leaving, the current administration is canceling and un canceling programs. The administration seems to be acting on their emotions vs what is best for the school. The answer to the staffing shortage seems to be to put aides in the classroom. I am not paying to have my child taught by an aide. I hope the school can pull their act together otherwise they may lose a few more kids.

    We love the family atmosphere at St. Mary's! In addition to academic instruction, all of the grade levels interact with each other at different points each day, and have younger/older buddy time weekly. We also love the faith based aspect: Be kind and love one another. St. Mary's is a gem in the Tomahawk community. I would highly recommend!!
