This is the best school ever!!!!!!!! last year when I went to plains it was like my second home and the teachers treated me like I was their own kid. When summer came I cried. even the bus drivers were extremely nice.

This is an awesome school. The staff is extremely caring, and they go out of their way to help the kids. My children are not just viewed as a number, or an SOL score at this school. You can tell when you walk in the door that this is a great place for kids! The administration is always willing to meet with me when I have questions. I cannot think of a place I would rather take my children for their elementary school experience!

Some students seem to "slip between the cracks" at Plains. My son's teacher tried to talk me into holding him back when he was passing. meeting with the teacher was for one reason and a meeting with the principal for the same issue was completely different. They complained about what I sent him for lunch (he's extremely picky, but would eat a cheese sandwich and banana), so when I made him buy school lunch for 2 months nothing was said to me that he stopped eating it at all until a volunteer finally told me. I pulled him out after 1 year and wouldn't go back for anything

Plains Elementary is the best school. Everyone there truley cares about the students and it's like one big family there. I know that when I send my son to school there that he is being treated just as good as I would treat him. This is just the best school I have ever been involved with!
