We have our two youngest currently in Red Lick and our two oldest have already gone through all the grades and graduated out into the world. There’s a reason we keep sending our children to Red Lick. The environment is safe, kind and encouraging. The teachers and staff love the kids and stay in close communication with the parents. All of our kids are so smart. This school district is an answered prayer.

Red Lick Elementary is a hidden gem! My children feel safe and loved while receiving a top notch education. Teachers have high expectations for ALL students and the small class sizes make it possible to differentiate instruction. We love this school and its teachers!

Red Lick ISD is a wonderful learning environment for my kids. The district has gone above and beyond to keep the classes small. The teachers are great and treat the students like their own. All three of my kids have gone to Red Lick, both Elementary and Middle School, and each and every teacher and staff member know my kid's by name. My kids love school, because of their teachers and staff.

Fantastic school with small class sizes and many extra programs. The district is constantly looking for ways to improve all areas. Communication with teachers is easy and ongoing.

I have 2 children in elementary school here and have felt greatly best to be a part of this small district. There is a small student to teacher ratio, which is very helpful at the age for learning and providing specialized teaching. The teachers are dedicated and love my children!

We love being part of the Redlick Independent School District. Both of my children attend and the only thing lacking is a high school. One of the things RLISD has done right is grow without losing its educational focus. Sometimes districts focus on everything else and forget about the main thing. I appreciate that my children are challenged and encouraged to be great readers and thinkers. Selfishly, I hope it stays small but can’t blame parents for choosing this district.

We love Redlick Elementary! My little one is in kindergarten there and just a few weeks in and I have already had a status call with her teacher to let me know how she is doing. Communication from the teachers and staff is excellent, and she is learning so much already! She's excited to go to school each day!

This school has been a blessing to our family. The superintendent, teachers, and principal have shown so much care for our children. Our children haven't ever had "too much" homework and they have thrived. It's a small school and the small class sizes really benefit our children.

Our principal at the middle school is very uncaring! The students are withdrawn and feel defeated! The Math teacher has no clue about Math! Homework nightly with my child getting in bed after midnight! It has gone down very quickly!!! We need a new principal! When Mr. WHITE WAS THE PRINCIPAL everything was perfect.. My child will be attending another school in the upcoming days.

These reviews were posted when former supt. Dr Richard Hervey was in leadership. The current supt has replaced the 2 former principals and most of the staff members have left under her leadership as well. Sadly, it is not the same district it has been.
