I picked up my 6 yr old grandson as I do everyday from lost Creek elementary. When he climbed in the truck I noticed he was upset & trying not to cry. When I asked him what was wrong he then started crying saying the lady yelled at him because he couldn't get his coat zipped! When we got home we looked through pictures of teachers on line. He pointed out the principles picture & said it was her. Now I have a little problem understanding what part of this is ok. How a professional, an adult, & a principle of a school especially, thinks it's ok to yell at a 6 yr old student to the point of crying, because he "can't", not won't, but can't get his coat zipped. Now if she has yelled at one kid, more than likely he's not the only one. One of the sad things about this is there will be nothing done about it. I'm not unreasonable, at the very least an apology to him would be nice. Cause I'm sure no one higher up would do anything about it. What if it had been your child? Any suggestions about what to do?

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS SCHOOL. Principal and staff are very unprofessional will contact you writing letters every single day about small things your child do as if they are ROBOTS and not learning children. I'm assuming they want your child to be Einstein prior to kindergarten! Teachers and staff are QUICK to recommend holding your child back in the same grade not even offering tutoring at the very least. They are short staffed and are too lazy to teach your child one on on if your child is in need of a little extra help. More papers sent home than lessons being learned. Not a multi racial school at all. Guessing they want only caucasian children there only. The colored kids that I have witnessed there look scared even in photos on google! Red flag for sure.COMPLETE WASTE OF A SCHOOL YEAR!

I would highly recommend Lost Creek for anyone seeking a high quality, community oriented education. These teachers truly love the kids and work tirelessly to help them learn.

I have two daughters are currently attending Lost Creek. The teachers are great. They communicate with parents well and take their time to let parents know what can be improved and if there is anything can be done at home. Teachers are kind .
