Saint Jeanne's has been like a second home for us and our children. We are currently in our 4th year of school here, with 3 kids (K, 1st, and 3rd). We have had nothing but wonderful experiences. Pre-K and TK were incredible, all the teachers and staff have been amazing and our kids academic levels are 1-2 years ahead of public school. We love that this school focuses a lot on the Marian feast days and incorporates the Catholic faith into their curriculum and activities. The only thing we have been unhappy about is that there are not many priests around. That would be a nice presence to have. It would also be lovely to have a parish connected to the school. Otherwise, we are very happy here!

I had two kids at this school for 3 years. Then one day found out their level of knowledge are below the supposed standard knowledge compared to public school requirements. It’s very sad for a Catholic school to fall behind in every aspects compared to public school. The Catholic schools nowadays are all about tuitions and fees, not much about educating the future leaders of Catholic community. It is quite sad as I am Catholic but have no choice to pull them out. It’s expensive without the bangs for your bucks.

Saint Jeanne De Lestonnac is a very great and beautiful school. There is a lot of homework, but it really pushes students to try their best. The teachers are strict and friendly with the students. My daughter really likes this school so far and everyone is extremely welcoming to the new students. I'm really glad that I found this school for my daughter.

Fantastic! So happy to be a parent at the only Catholic school in the Temecula Valley. We love the cirriculum, the teachers, the safety of the campus, and feel as if our daughter will be prepared for all of the academic endeavors of the future. Proud to raise a fourth generation Catholic school student!

I have 3 children attending St Jeanne twin boys entering Kindergarten and a daughter entering 4th grade. As such I have a 6 year history with the school.(pre school, pre k, 1,2,and 3rd grades) I agree with many of the review comments - it offers challenging academics, great student teacher ratios, qualified, engaging and supportive teachers and parents, a great value system and a great campus,. I appreciate all they have done for our children.

We love St.Jeannes's! It has been an amazing school to be at from its educational standards,it's caring staff, family centered values, and it's beautiful ,spectacularly well maintained campus. As a single mother,I feel this is the best place for my son.He is surrounded by not only a staff that cares ,but great, GREAT parents that care about their own children and the community around them. Do we have challenges at the school? Yes of course ! I'm sure every school does have its glitches. Most are handled quickly and effectively with love. In a perfect world ,If I could alter one thing about the school it would be to reconsider the homework load.We get a great deal of homework, which can become quite overwhelming for us. St Jeanne's truly has been a blessing in our lives.

We are entering our third year at St. Jeanne's and we couldn't be happier. My daughters enjoy going to school each day and I have enjoyed becoming involved with the Home and School board. My girls are receiving a high quality academic and religious education at St. Jeanne de Lestonnac. I would highly recommend this school!

My child attended this school for one year. We were drawn to the beautiful campus, the religious and academic standards we were striving for our child. Within a few months were were receiving feedback from our child of boredom, and the classes moved at a slow pace . Teachers gave just repeated "busy" work below grade level to fill time for him. After many conferences with teachers and principle we were decided SJDL was not a good fit for our child. From the beginning we did not have a good experience at SJDL, the staff was not friendly towards our family when we told them we were leaving at the end of the school year. We judged a book by its cover e.g. beautiful campus, but received the true contents.

As last year s Home and School President, I would like to address some of the previous comments. SJDLS offers a laptop program for the children (MAC) as well as a MAC lab and a PC lab. Children in grades K-8 are offered computer class as part of the core curriculum. My daughter, a freshman @ Great Oak High School (as well as 5 of her peers), has been accepted to the IB Program as well as CSF due to the excellent overall experience at SJDLS. The goal of fundraising at our school is to not only bridge the gap between what tuition covers and what does not, but also give back to our worldwide community. We have had food drives, worked at soup kitchens, raised money for Michelle s Place and donated thousands of dollars to the neediest of students at our sister school in Mobokoli, Africa. Our tuition rates are among the lowest in the area and have not increased in over 3 years due to the generosity of our parents and community at large. Some children at our school receive discounted tuition, on a per needed basis, due to this community outreach. I am blessed to note that we have enrolled almost 70 new children this Fall!

I have had older children at public schools and have my younger children at this school for many reasons. While for the most part the education is the same as area public or private schools, the knowledge that they are in a good enviornment trumps everything else that may be lacking. If you are not happy at this school - you should definately try others - you will find that you are most likely not happy there as well. The Sisters of the Company of Mary have proven that they care about the children's education. They try to keep children interested by bringing in extra curricular / after school classes. Fundraising goes hand in hand with having your children in a private school. Public schools are certainly feeling the pinch of the times and if I need to fundraise to keep the quality up for my children - I am happy to do so.

This school is exactly what I was looking for for my child. The teachers are dedicated. Many of the teachers have their own chiildren at this school. The curriculm is very strong and the administration continues to stay abreast of the newest technologies and curriculm. The homework load is preparing the kids for high school. In regards to fundraising. Most parents know that private schools depend on fundraising money. This school in particular has the lowest tuition in the area because the administration truly wants to help out their families. Thanks to past fundraising - lpads and macs have been added this year. Parents that need help financially can always talk to the administration and their fundraising obligations can be waived if need be. No child is excluded on purpose and certainly not punished.

Lovely campus and very strong in academics. A lot of homework but it really pushes the kids to their fullest potential. Strict yet loving teachers and friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately there is not after school lessons such as music or art and for a private school I did expect to have that as an option. There is not a laptop program so they are still lacking in exposure to the latest forms of learning and communication via the computer. The fundraising is excessive. If your child does not sell enough of their monthly fundraiser then they are instructed to wear their uniform on a given day and not allowed to wear their everyday fun clothes as form of punishment. So your child will be ostracized for not meeting fundraising goals. Global or community awareness/ charity is not emphasized.
