Bullying is not dealt with, when someone was bullying they did nothing. Dont send your kids here unless you wish for them to get depression.

As a recent and proud alumni of Williams, I assure you that this is the best middle school! Yes- there are conflicts that appear now and then, but at the end, a reasonable action is taken by the principal or any respective adults. In terms of teachers, I, truthfully, write that majority respect you and will always there for you no matter what! There will be some times when you receive those “mean” teachers. Just remember to stay calm and respect them and understand that we don’t see every aspect of everyone’s lives. Regardless, my experience with my educators had been an exceptional one. I recall a time when I needed help with a math problem, and my AVID teacher came to action right away. She had attempted to help me for a full class period, but time had ran out. As one would expect, she had stopped for the day, but this was not the case. My teacher had continuously worked on the math problem for three class periods straight and came to me with a solution. This demonstrates the value of each student to a teacher. I will never forget that day, ever! :)In terms of students, you will always find those behaved ones and those mischievous ones no matter the location. I would recommend that you just focus on schoolwork and ignore all the distractions and negativity around you. You will always have (old & new) friends to create those previous moments with, nevertheless.Speaking of homework, the work here is extremely rigorous and you do get piles of them. But, if you have proper organization & time-management skills, this should not be so bad. Always keep a planner and use free periods to complete your work.Other than that, this school is amazing!! I would recommend any student to come here. You will feel welcomed at all points and I assure that you will not regret being a student here.

My son has a learning disability and we wanted a more structured environment for him since he is very high functioning. I feel like this schoolProvides that. My son often lacks and he has had tremendous help and motivation with some amazing teachers. What I also find, in my experience is the empathy, connection with the parents and professionalism is often lacking. The guidance counselor does not respond professionally and the young lady who answers the phone in the front office does not have phone etiquette in the least. The principal and AP allow this behavior and it almost seems like they take your concerns personal. Today the guidance counselor advised me that she in fact does. There is much deflection and their go to is “take a message”. Disappointing when you are a parent.

The school is one of the best schools. Most of the teachers are great, but there are some that just get on your nerve. Most the time the homework is all right, maybe and hour or two, but every week, you will get that one assignment that makes no sense at all. There are some really nice people there that are good to be friends with, but bullying is a problem and they don’t always deal with it right away. I would recommend this school to my friends, because I love this school and is amazing to learn at cause they challenge you to bring at the best of your abilities.

It’s a school with extremes, there’s a lot of very smart and good kids over there but there’s also a lot of bad and slightly violent kids over there. Most teachers are dedicated to helping you do above and beyond.

Bullying is rampant and not dealt with. Very distracting environment.

Both of my children's experience in Williams has been great. My 8th grader enjoys the rigorous and challenging courses that she takes. Homework is quite a bit but acceptable. She is doing extremely well with all her classes. She will have four high school credits by the time she finishes 8th grade. My 6th grader has less advanced classes than my 8th grader and her homework is minimal. This is an excellent school with such a diversified student body and a well-rounded curriculum.

My son's experience at Williams has been great. He has been challenged by the high expectations not only from his teachers but also from his peers. He has been asked to learn curriculum AND have a critical mind. This approach has really furthered his ability to think. There has been a fair amount of homework but not overwhelming and, importantly the work was never busy work but rather opportunities to further his understanding of given subjects. It is a large and diverse school, so some middle school problems do exist but I think the administration deals with them well. Principal , APs , and admin team overall are very open and responsive. We are overall very happy with the school

Hey right now I'm a student at Williams .And I'm proud of it though it is very challenging its worth it because later in life those skills that you learned as an IB student come in handy. All my teachers are wonderful they always want me to strive for the best so parents who are reading this you should definitely enroll your child or at least let them shadow. - your fellow 6th grade student Veerali Rana

I'm currently a 7th grader enrolled in Williams, (I was a 6th grader last year.) and I firmly believe this is a excellent school. I mean it's not every day you find a internationally recognized IB school! This is one of the best educations your child will get, but it can be a challenge. So if your child wants the best education they can get and they are ready for a challenge, by all means enroll!

Our school is multicultural. We do learn only about things that go around in the community but the world around us! I like the teachers that put a spin on the way we learn to make it fun yet understandable. I think we can improved by getting involved with the community more.

We are so pleased our daughter got into this school. We love it here. The IB curriculum is challenging and it keeps the students busy and focused on their education. Be prepared for large amounts of homework! We live in New Tampa and were worried that the distance to the school would out weigh the academic benefit. It does not, we have found the added effort, early mornings, and busy homework evenings are totally worth the excellent education our daughter is receiving at this school! It's a rich and diverse culture and she adores it!!

My daughter attended Williams for 6th through 8th grade. The curriculum was advanced but they offered extra assistance to students after school if needed. The teachers were fair and I believe they really want the students to succeed. This school is very diverse and rich in culture. I truly recommend Williams as a well-rounded, professional, academia focused middle school. This is exactly the type of school I wanted for my daughter.

I LOVE Williams IB. I am going into 7th graade and my 6th grade year was my best year in education. The amount of work is large but that gets kids minds away from bullying and getting in trouble. This school is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! Most teachers are nice. The math and science is where kids trouble the most here so make sure they understand what they are learning. The teachers here strive to get you one-on-one and to help you. The students here can get a little rowdy but most make good friends. Your child will get the best education they could ever get in the United States her at Williams. It is an excellent school.

This school is really great! I am currently in 6th grade and have been an a grade student for the past 6 years if u include this year. The studies aren't too hard for me but for some other students they are. this school offers many courses that you can take online to be in an advanced class. DO NOT LISTEN TO ANY OTHER REVIEWS ABOUT HOW THIS SCHOOL MIGHT BE BAD AND ALL THAT! Those are just students who get F's and hate smart people.

Most of the teachers here are very professional, honest, caring people who are passionate about teaching. My son has gone there for 3 years and is moving on to HS next year. I am so glad we chose Williams for him. He was able to take 3 HS courses in 8th grade as well. My son would say they are a little strict but I like that type of environment for my child. It helps them stay focused on learning and cuts down on the behavioral problems and bullying. I am confident that Williams has prepared him for what ever HS he chooses. Also the school is very diverse and rich in cultures. It was a wonderful experience and I would recommend Williams IB to anyone with a bright child looking for a structured environment to help their child soar to success!
