Academics is second to none.Teachers are top notch. It's a very demanding school both on students and parents alike. No nonsense ,great education. Parents are super involved.

We transition our 3 children from another private school back in 2019 and I have never been happier. My children did amazing with the transition. The principal, faculties, and staff are very supportive and caring. I felt that they grew spiritually and academically. I would definitely recommend St Lawrence.

As a new family that transferred in from a local private school, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and support received from the families and staff at Saint Lawrence Catholic School. My children have both easily transitioned to their new lives and I am convinced it was due to the support and love shown to us. They are both extremely happy, thriving and making good friends. The teachers and administration truly care about the students and consistently go above and beyond to ensure the student's well-being is top priority. I am proud to say my children go to School at Saint Lawrence and the education is fully preparing my children for their futures.Best decision ever to move to STL!

My husband and I are both alumni of the school, and our daughter is now a student. St. Lawrence is family to us. The teachers truly care about our daughter and go above and beyond to ensure that she is challenged and reaches her potential.

Both my children went to St. Lawrence from EC4 through 8th grade graduation. They were both well prepared for Jesuit and the Academy of the Holy Names. My kids used to thank the teachers from St. Lawrence for helping them excel in both high school and college! As parents who were involved and volunteered to help in the many events, we found lifetime friendships!

My daughter was bullied at the school and the blame was put on her for being an easy target. It turned out the same girls had been in trouble the year before for bullying but that was never mentioned by the school. The girls happen to have parents who are large donors to the school/church. Maybe that is a coincidence. They have zero tolerance for any mental health issues. My daughter went from a straight A gifted student to "failing" their classes while getting high standardized test scores. She is back to being a straight A student in the gifted program.

I was a student here at St.Lawrence, but I have since graduated, and I would like to share my negative experience. One of my dearest friend's brother was stabbed with a pencil due to a prank. The disciplinary actions taken were just embarrassing for this school, the kid who did the stabbing was only suspended, and not for a long time. Besides that most students whose parents went to school there get special privileges. I would not recommend this school at all. I could write so much about the negative parts. The one amazing teacher I got to have was Jeanna Marquis, she is amazing.

This school is not what it use to be. Curriculum is all over the place , teachers and staff always seem unorganized and never on the same page. Good teachers never stay long because even they can see how bad it is. Principal is awful. She never listens to what students or parents have to say and discriminates towards certain students. Everything is about money and religion is only mentioned when it fits their agenda. This school use to be so amazing but ever since they hired this new principal it’s gone down big time. So many friends of ours have pulled their kids out because of it.

There has been a serious discrimination, bullying and racism situation in St. Lawrence Catholic School for years and it has gotten worst recently. The alumni run the school and their kids have privileges. The administration and teachers know about it and they have not done anything about it.

St. Lawrence has been a wonderful school for my children. The school has modernized over the years to include more technology, differentiated learning approaches, and student centered learning. While adjusting to 21st century requirements, St. Lawrence maintains traditional education standards. Students are well prepared for high school. Teachers are dedicated and hardworking. Families are encouraged to be involved in an active parish life - family Mass, religious formation, adult prayer groups, an incredible youth athletic program, etc. St. Lawrence is a great place to raise your family!

I am very pleased with the education my kids received from St Lawrence. They all went on to great high schools and did/are doing very well. The teachers were supportive. My husband and I are the type of parents that if our children were disciplined, we supported the teachers. Our kids aren't perfect and we recognize they will make and grow from their mistakes. Parents complaining on here probably don't want to admit that their kids actually misbehave sometimes. I would recommend St Lawrence to any families moving to the area or looking for a quality education that leads to great high schools.

St. Lawrence is a very caring place. Our children are respected as individuals. As Catholic educators, they minister to the whole child mind, heart, and hands. In a trusting, nurturing, safe, Christian environment they enable children to develop emotionally, intellectually, socially, physically, and spiritually. Understanding their uniqueness, they provide various opportunities for children to discover, explore, question, and share. They facilitate an atmosphere that nurtures a child s special relationship with God, develops their self-confidence, a love for learning, and a respect for self and others. In addition to the daily curriculum, the students are offered special classes as well.

Sending my kids to St. Lawrence was the best decision I made when I moved to Tampa. St. Lawrence not only set them on a course for success in high school, but also created a strong foundation on which their faith and Catholic values was built.

My overall experience is positive. I've had children on opposite sides of the academic scale and opposite sides of the social scale. I feel as if this school has been a blessing to our family. I am also pleased that the cost of this private school keeps it reachable for many despite not being able to provide extreme accommodations. I highly recommend St. Lawrence to families that accept these realities.

My experience with Saint Lawrence Catholic School has always been positive. This is the school to send your child to if you are looking for a true Christ centered environment where students are taught Gospel values in addition to academics. My children flourished at this school because they learned what was mirrored at home. This school is my one and only choice for elementary education. The teachers are true professionals and caring and compassionate individuals who do their best day after day to try and meet the needs of all the students in their classroom. I have great respect for the teaching profession and the amazing men and women who choose to follow it,especially at Saint Lawrence.

Terrible. This school ruined what should be the best part of participating and caring about your child’s early educational experiences.

I have loved the Parish and the front desk is amazing! However, I feel very disappointed in the lack of trust and respect to the parents from the upper administration, teachers and parent club president. My child has back tracked on math especially. Heartfelt sadness overall.
