My son who's in Kindergarten, really likes the school. He loves his teacher, Ms. Ingardia, the snacks school provides and "the center" where they end their school day. Even though, school ends kind of early (1pm Mondays and 2pm all other days) aftercare if available through different providers (including YMCA on site) until 6pm. We're very thankful that they stayed open in-person through covid last year and handled confirmed cases on isolated basis with help of tracing, like they should be, without shutting down the whole school. We're really happy we ended up in this school!

Despite having to navigate the troubles with COVID the last two academic years the administration and teachers at Essrig have acted in the best interest of students. My daughters academic progress from K-2nd were significant and outpaced even our higher standard for education in our family and household. Communication from all levels was constant and timely and there were few if any concerns about my child’s safety this year. Essrig is an excellent school and provides for the kind of learning environment all parents hope for when enrolling their children in school!

My sons went to Essrig from 2017-2021 and we had a wonderful experience. Essrig is smaller than some of the other area public elementary schools so it felt like a close-knit community where everyone knew my children. All of the teachers we had were caring and communicative. This school is a hidden gem in the Citrus Park / Carrollwood area.

This school is absolutely amazing. My daughter has been coming here since K & each year they exceed my expectations. The teachers are phenomenal and provide all of the support your child could ever need.

My kids have been attending Essrig Elementary for the last 3 years and I couldn't be happier with the outcomes so far. The way they handled the pandemic with options for e-learning as well as protocols for in-person learning. I feel like both of my kids got the same great quality of education as they did pre-pandemic. The teachers and staff genuinely care about the students' happiness as much as their comprehension.

Both of my children are Essrig graduates and had only positive experiences and have incredibly fond memories of staff and peers. I would highly recommend this elementary school!

My kids have been going to Essrig since 2013 and I love the school. My kids have never had a teacher that didn't go above and beyond for their class. They have great culture at Essrig.

Amazing. Unfortunately I'm moving and will be sad to leave this school next year. Miss mcrossin and Mosley were outstanding teachers for my daughter.

At first I was very unsure not because of the school because we transferred from another county. My expectations were very high and this school has met it. Mrs Stratton and Ms Clark has gone above and beyond for my son as well as all of their students. Thank you so much! I am super excited to see what is in store next year. The office staff is welcoming and courteous! Last but not least the Principal is such a humble person! This school truly cares about their students... God Bless!

Our son was in their EELP program since he turned 3 due to a speech delay. He just started kindergarten and is on level thanks to the arduous labor of his teacher and amazing teacher assistant, and our daughter is in the EELP program as a typical peer (different teachers, but equally caring and fun). The teachers genuinely care for the development and educational growth of their children. As a district employee, if I may add, one of our best schools!!! Parents, you won't be disappointed. We plan on staying in this area because of Essrig.

Essrig is THE best school. They go above and beyond and it really has a different feel. My son started at the school unable to talk and no one could understand him. He is a completely different child now and I know it's thanks to this school. You won't be disappointed! !

We have been at Essrig for 5 years and feel blessed to be a part of such a GREAT school family. You can tell how much the teachers care about the kids and the quality of how they teach. The administration is fantastic. Even with a change in principals Essrig continues to impress. The PTA is very involved/active and very welcoming and friendly to all.

Essrig is a supportive, close knit learning environment fostered by the best teaching and support staff. My daughter loves going to school here each day and has grown and learned so much. We have a wonderful principal, office staff and group of volunteers, as well. I am thrilled that she is attending Essrig for elementary school!

This is a fantastic school. My kids have been here for three years now. I love the teachers and staff. I am a working parent but have been very involved with the PTA and my kids teachers. Newbie principal; but he's doing a great job so far.

I have had children at Essrig for the past 7 years. Nothing but positive experiences. Great teachers and staff. Lots of opportunities to get involved. I would recommend Essrig to anyone!!!

Essrig is a very caring school with a great group of teachers and staff. The location of the school makes it easy for parental involvement since it is close to home.
