This school is more than a bunch of teachers and kids. They are a big family. I was nervous about moving my special needs son to this school but they vanished any fear that I had. I have never witnessed so much compassion from a school in my entire life. Thank you Tamaroa Grade School for everything you have done for not only my son but everyone else in the community.

Wow what a year this has been! At the beginning of the year I wasn't sure how the students or faculty would take to Christian( my 7yr old with p.w.s.) or vise versa. To the faculty thank you for your open minds and understanding with him. We never thought things would of turned out as well as they did. At The beginning of the year he barley talked couldn't read do basic math and had poor social skills. The first time he came home and read a book to me I knew we made the right choice enrolling him here. To the students for opening their arms to guide him in the right directions, or just brighting his day by asking him how his weekend was or telling him things like hey buddy I like your shoes always put a smile on his face. I've walked the halls and sat at breakfast even in the classrooms the staff and students here at t.g.s. are amazing ( more like family members) . And to the parents of these well mannered polite children keep up your good work at home.

Tamaroa Grade School is a little school with a big heart. Class sizes are small and teachers are able to give highly individualized attention and care to each student. There is a tremendous amount of technology and new education methods being used in our school. Students and parents are encouraged to be a part of the education of children in the community and their suggestions are always taken into consideration. Our little school is one of the best examples of what is good in American Public Education today and I'm very proud to be a part of this learning community!

I like TGS because the teachers make the students feel like they are one of their own. They sincerely care about each child and their overall well-being.
