I don’t even know where to start. I was praying this year would start off strong. Please don’t come here. The head of school, Justin just reeks of pompousness. What is the school board trying to create!? Little Justin’s!? Pick another private school.

This is an incredible school. With the level of academic rigor, I thought my child would struggle...but the teachers are just talented and passionate, and they know how to do their job so well. I've been just blown away by all my child has learned, and she is growing spiritually too. She has strong friendships and is a more dedicated student now than ever before!

My oldest will soon be in his 4th year at CCA and I have another that will be starting kindergarten in the fall. We are grateful for everything CCA has offered to our oldest over the last 3 years. Having come from the public school system I am so thankful that we found CCA that has challenged my son academically more than I feel he would have ever received had he stayed in his other school. We have been pleased with the teachers, the staff, the parents and the students. Every school is going to have its pros and it's cons and everyone has a different experience. The one thing that I regret about CCA is that we didn't do our research sooner and my son lost 2 years in the public school we are zoned for.

At first, I was excited about this school for my child and after what I've experienced, I would not recommend this school to a friend or a family member. I am glad I took out my child. Not every experience is the same so think really hard before choosing this school and make sure you pay close attention to your child on a daily basis. Thank you and this is a very honest review.

My son is an entering kindergartner at Christ Classical Academy. He never went to preschool and I assumed that he may be a little behind for the first few months of school as a result. This has not been the case! After just 4 weeks of school he is already academically surpassing his peers in other schools who had attended preschool. I am so blown away by his progress and his excitement for learning. Not only is he excelling in academics, he is also growing leaps and bounds spiritually and displaying new Christ-like character traits to those around him. I cannot express my gratitude enough to the tremendous teachers, staff and parents that give so much of themselves investing in our precious kids. Thank you Christ Classical Academy!

The process of researching for a school for our 4 year-old daughter took quite some time as we had somewhat homeschooled her for the first years of her life and, as educators, we had very high expectations. After visiting various schools, we decided to enroll our daughter at Christ Classical Academy. Our child’s time at Christ Classical Academy has been very positive and reaffirms that we made the right choice for her. This is her first year in Pre-K4 and her first experience in a classroom setting. She has thrived in the nurturing and caring environment that CCA offers. The small class sizes, engaged teachers and staff and individualized approach to the curriculum provide the best learning environment for our child. The small class size allows our teacher to meet the students where they are and adapt portions of the day to aid each child in developing foundational skills and emotional control. Instruction is both group-based and individualized to support students’ transition to school and help them grow as young learners. Our daughter’s teacher is such a blessing in our lives. She has helped our daughter to develop emotionally and cognitively this year. She has formed a wonderful bond with our daughter based on trust and respect. Her approach with our daughter is balanced: direct, firm and encouraging. She takes the same approach with each child in the class. The result is a structured learning environment that our child enjoys and excels in. The teachers and staff at CCA supplement our teaching and discipline at home. They work closely with us – sending home daily communication about our daughter’s work progress and behavior. They’ve been so supportive of our family and daughter during this year of transition to school. Our daughter missing her teachers and friends during weekends and holidays is a testament to the environment fostered at CCA. We have truly appreciated the teaching, structure and support provided by CCA for our child. We look forward to our future in this wonderful school.

Don't be blinded by christ classical academy's curriculum; otherwise, you will end up hurting your child. A wise friend once told me, if you don't have anything good to say about something or someone, say nothing.

Before enrolling your child at CCA, please be sure to think twice about the place. If your child is already in that school, pay very close attention to your child’s behavior, it may be telling you something. Our 4 year-old daughter who’s turning 5 in 2 months, was accused of lying several times, she was cornered to answer to things she did not do. During a meeting, her teacher actually said, “…and when cornered, she cried with remorse and I believed her then”. We took her out immediately. She was always terrified to go to school. We're still helping to get her confidence back. They hurt our baby emotionally. We’re constantly praying with her and reassure her that we love, believe and trust her. It's so bad that even if she happens to drop her food on the floor at home, she cries intensely and asks us to please believe that she didn't do it on purpose. Attending that school was the BIGGEST mistake we made. It was only a month and it felt like it was already half way through the year. There were many comments about our child that were unacceptable. There are things that were said that we did not put in this post. We’re leaving them in the hands of The Almighty God and we pray that no one else ever have to go through what our daughter endured.Imagine how many other parents walked away from CCA and didn't even leave a comment? Comments about real issues that happened there to cause them to leave. We wish someone had done that; it would have been very helpful. We hope this comment help you with your decision. Thanks.

I am a volunteer at this school and cannot begin to list all of the wonderful attributes of this school, for there are so many. Their educational methods and consequently their results are unlike you've seen in a very long time. That, coupled with the dedication and love these children are receiving from the teachers and staff, make Christ Classical Academy in Tallahassee a true gem in today's world. Just being there is such a blessing for the volunteer

This school is a family. It has an amazing staff and wonderful parent involvement. The students love it. I think the curriculum is so wonderful, I'm jealous I didn't get to go here when I was in school.

We have been at CCA for the past 4 years. I have never witnessed such growth before. My daughter blossomed not only academically, but also personally. Each and every teacher took the time not only to teach but inspire her to be all she could be. She was welcomed and accepted by all her classmates as well as other children throughout the school. This year my boys have also started kindergarten at CCA. They have already learned more than I could have imagined. Their teachers are wonderful, helping them to build the foundation of not only education, but a love of Christ. I have nieces and nephews in the public school system and based on the differences I see in their education and my children s education, there is no doubt in my mind that a Classical Education is not only the bases for college, but for life.

My school is not adopting the common core curriculum. Rather they will continue with the method that the school carries in it's name, Classical. If the school were to change, I could honestly say I would be looking into other alternatives. Thank God they are standing firm in the traditional and BEST method of teaching, classical.

My children are new to Christ Classical Academy this year and it has been a wonderful experience for them and for us. The children have made them feel so welcome and I feel that they are forming life long friendships. The parents and staff have made our whole family feel welcome. My children are being challenged academically and are growing daily in their relationship with Jesus Christ. I feel so blessed to be a part of the Christ Classical family.

My son is a second grader this year and coming from the public school system I could not ask for a better environment for him to be in. We spent 2 years waiting for him to be challenged and pushed at his previous school and we weren't getting that. At CCA he was learning more his first week than he had the past 2 years put together. The staff, students and parents have all been welcoming and great to us. I look forward to many more years at CCA!

We have two girls enrolled at Christ Classical Academy and I cannot imagine sending them anywhere else. They are challenged academically, encouraged spiritually, and developing such sweet friendships! It has been so nice to watch them thrive in a strong Christian environment.

Christ Classical Academy is a school based on the principles of quality education for a lifetime. Our three children have attended this school for the past 2 years and we have seen a dramatic change in their desire to learn. Not only that, their behavior in social settings and at home has increased in sincerity, love, and a desire to serve. We could not be happier with a school! As a small school, the teachers are able to work with the children individually as well as collectively. When they see one of our children struggling in an area, the school is quick to contact us and help us help our kids at home. The teachers have taught with love for these children, and we are very grateful for not just the academics they have learned at CCA, but the life skills of being honorable, respectful, and servant-hearted individuals. Our hearts are a part of CCA like no other school we have encountered!

Christ Classical Academy is a wonderful school choice in Tallahassee, Florida. it offers the rare combination of high academic standards with creative, loving teachers. I see my children growing daily in their reading comprehension and writing skills. Their confidence in math has also grown exponentially in the last three years at CCA. I can hardly believe their knowledge of history and Bible. They converse freely about significant events in history and are able to articulate their beliefs with clarity and conviction thanks to the teachers who have labored so hard day and and day out with creative lesson preparation and thorough evaluation. I would encourage any parents searching for a better academic alternative for their child to come and observe CCA classes for yourself. You won't be disappointed!!

Coming from public schools, we were thrilled to find our kids academically challenged to the highest degree at CCA, and their minds have been engaged and compelled by the integration of rich history, literature, science, theology, and so much more that is far beyond anything I thought possible. The math program is exceptionally strong. The close covenant community of believers that includes enrolled families, teachers and administration creates a peaceful learning environment where God's spirit is evident We finally found a school where our children's minds are treated like the extraordinary creations that they truly are. MOST highly recommend this school! We did extensive research on other schools in the area and CCA had the most rigorous academics and the strongest spiritual development that we could find in Tallahassee.
