Syracuse is a great school and after reading the last 3 reviews it makes me mad. I graduated in 2003 and had a great experience. Parents are blaming the issues on the principal or teachers, but the fact is that it is a lack of guidance from the parents. Don't blame your problems on the school when you know deep down inside that it is the parents problem. If there was more discipline at home there wouldn't be any problems at home. Get it together for your kids and stop blaming OTHERS for YOUR problems and/or mistakes.

The school principal does NOT handle matters with class or respect. Today he threatened to suspend my daughter for getting beat up by another student. My daughter was the victim of a beating in the school gym! The girl was suspended for 10 days and when she returned to school the principal threatened my daughter! My daughter has 5 classes with this girl and the school is doing NOTHING!! He SCREAMED at her and MYSELF! This principal needs to be removed for attitude and his approach to kids and parents!

Poor leadership by the principal! Unacceptable behavior towards students and parents! I have had more issues in 3 months than I have in 13 years at another school!! Horrible principal!

This school takes no responsibility for the actions of their students. The manner in which situations are handled are piss poor and lack adult supervision. Not to mention the way they speak to the students. The tone used is unacceptable and any parent would agree with this statement. The principles attitude is that of a dictator and not a role model or someone to trust. Parents beware!
