The school lacks in safety. And has previously failed to notify parents of major safety incidents.The school does not appear to teach students according to state standards. I have also seen in other sites that they academically rank at a C+.Instead of individually punishing bad students for their actions, the entire class gets punished. There's several issues with this methodology.Instead of challenging excelling students, they would rather use the excelling students to teach other students (students are there to learn and be challenged, not be an employee). Upon several requests to the principal and teachers to test our son to see if he could advance to the next grade, no action has been taken and they have never followed up with us. We have been asking for this for 7 months.I do not recommend this school.

The parent/teacher relationship is much valued. The staff is very caring.

I attended this school from 2nd grade until I left for 7th grade, and I can honestly say that it is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Every person there is kind and the students know how to respect their teachers. The teachers even teach the kids things like "life skills and life-long guidelines" and its just where they teach the kids what respect, judgement, caring, effort etc... are. I may not be great at wording this but I assure you, if you want a safe, nurturing environment for your children this is the place to go!
