Some teachers have NO DEGREE at all. School says every student has a computer (no books) but that is not true. No diploma on graduation. Students take the GED test. Beware those who say they come in Christ name, these people are not very Christian.

I was very disappointed in this school! I took my son out after 6 months. I did not get any communication from the teacher. When I was finally able to speak with her on the phone she had a terrible attitude. I expected more patience and care from teachers in a special needs school and certainly from a "christian" school. They are more of a very expensive day care than a school. Children are not learning there. My son will now have to repeat the 9th grade next year at his new school. More than anything I am very disappointed that I thought this school would be so much better than public school for my son -it was not. The teachers are not educated. There are no support systems in place for the children like they promise. They watch movies. I have my son back in public school where he can have real teachers, counselors, and an education that fits his needs -not just a day care

This school has high morals and teaches their students to reach for the stars. Where if they were in a public school they might fall through the cracks. As some have said they do not have art or PE. PE is taken care of by Tai Kwon Do. That is having the students move about getting discipline along with exercise. The art is done in the classroom with the students. The people that are cpmplaining about this should actually see that the PUBLIC schools are taking this out of the school systems. The teachers teach the subjects math, reading, language arts, history, and bible study. They teach to the different learning of ESE students. What a great program and staff they are doing here at this school!

Over the years I have worked with many wonderful people. However, the staff presently working at Christi Academy is exceptional. They are a very dedicated group of teachers working with special needs students. All of us at Christi Academy think this is a wonderful site, because it allows parents to give us feed back .This in turn, allows Christi Academy to address issues and the elements that help to keep Christi Academy one of the most unique schools for ESE. students. I am inviting all of you to visit our facility, have a look around, meet our staff, and see for yourself what we offer our students.

The teachers are not well educated, the only extra curricular activities are Tai Kwon Do. The before and after school care is very expensive! My son was at the school for an extended period of time, and I felt that he did not learn a great deal there. I feel that if the instructors were better educated, and more activities were brought in for the kids who cannot participate in Tai Kwon Do due to physical disabilites, this would be a great school. The Christian vibe is great, and is needed!!1
