My son loved school Kinder and Pre-K. This school changed that drastically came 1st and 2nd grade. This is not a safe space bullying is allowed and hidden. It it taken seriously based on what the school thinks you will do.They got rid of previous principal who was a God send to keep the truth and there stats low. I will be taking this to court. My son has shown exceptional excellent growth since I removed him and put him in a private school.

We moved from San Antonio to New Territory. I had no idea this website even existed until our realtor mentioned it when looking where to live. According to the website, my first grader was attending a 5/10 elementary back in SA. This school is 10/10, and you can tell as soon as you walk in! Great teachers, great Principal Mrs Viado, and great learning structure. It took my daughter a little while to catch up to the kids, she was a little behind. But now she will be in the 4th grade! And we are in awe of her! Her little brother started here in kindergarten and now in second grade. They both LOVE their school!. The learning they provide here really is amazing and you can tell in your kids! Really wonderful school!

My son is going to this school and he excited every morning to attend his school. We moved to this neighborhood because of this school. The teachers and principal are very friendly and caring. They focus on stuff other than studies as well building character and personality. They have couple clubs which you kid can participate after school.

We moved to the area specifically for the schools. So far our experience has been fantastic. My daughter really enjoys it and her teacher assigns her work based on her level so she continues to improve and doesn't get bored in class. I think the negative reviews must have been from a different time at BBE because the teachers, leadership, and other parents have been great so far in my opinion.

The bad reviews date to the time of the old principal. We started one of our kids as a kindergartener here, and the other transferred from another FBISD elementary when we moved into this attendance zone. Both children have thrived. The teacher engagement and parental involvement are very strong at the school.

Brazos Bend IS a great school! These reviews trouble me. I've had 3 kids here since 2004 w/ my youngest in 1st. I would never let my children go to a school like the last reviewer described. My kids come home happy. They love their teachers, who are loving & invested in their success in return! WE HAVE A NEW PRINCIPAL who has fun with the kids & welcomes parents. It is a VERY nice change. The front desk is kind & patient. Whining about rigid testing can't be directed at BBE teachers. Texas mandates standardized tests in every school that most parents hate! Take it up with your legislators! Have these parents ever volunteered here? I have. EVERY YEAR. I see sweet poems & pictures (creative stuff) on the walls & hear kids laughing in class with engaged teachers. My little one won't leave until he hugs his K teacher! His current teacher is patient, kind & attentive. Our 5th Gr. tchr spent 3 days tye-dying field day shirts! The moms I know & I love this school. Make no mistake, there is structure & teacher personalities to meet different kids' needs. BBE feeds into #1 ranked Sartartia M.S. The teachers (I vol. there too) comment on the great kids BBE turns out. Signed, Grateful MOM

This school is like boot camp. They are very rigid and only teach the children to be robot test takers. There is no room for creativity at this school or any room for mistakes of any type. If your child has ever gone to another elementary school, expect extreme transition problems. We are SO glad we transferred out of this school and now attend a more normal school in the district. I would not recommend this school to anyone. It will damage your child's self-esteem.

This school has been a dissapointment. Although the test scores might be great, the atmosphere is not. The principal is not professional nor welcoming and neither is the office staff. They are rude. Many times I have overheard the office staff gossiping with one another or about other parents. They are not welcoming to parents participation which in my opinion can really make a good school great. I'm hoping to switch schools before my youngest enters kinder.
