Cherry Lane Elementary School has the best teachers who truly care for each individual student and create an academic atmosphere filled with love and excitement. The children in this beautiful community are motivated to learn and grow in this blue ribbon school. I moved to this neighborhood so that my kids can attend Cherry Lane and it was the best decision I made for them! Thank you Cherry Lane :)

Cherry Lane is an outstanding Blue Ribbon school with an award winning staff who are dedicated to their students. The beautiful community along with a very strong Parent Teacher association makes this school and district a wonderful place to raise a family.

Cherry Lane has a wonderful faculty and staff that promote a nurturing learning environment. My children have truly started to blossom here. Not only are they learning the skills necessary to be successful they are also taught the importance of having good character and giving back to the community.

Cherry Lane Elementary School was awarded a 2013 National Blue Ribbon Awards for academic excellence by the Federal Department of Education this October. Although winning such an award is always a great honor, the fact that Cherry Lane received it based in part on reading and math scores from the more rigorous Common Core based assessments last years speaks not only to the hard work and high achievement of our students, but also to the unending commitment and support they receive from families, teachers, administrators and from the community at large. Cherry Lane is the only school in Rockland County to have received a Blue Ribbon Award over the past 10 years. We are always proud to be Cherry Laners, but a little more so right now :-)

My girls were in this school for 2 years and I recently had to move. I wish I could have taken Cherry Lane along with the teachers and staff. It is a great school and my girls loved it there.

Cherry Lane is awesome! I've had children attend the school for years now. The principal is outstanding. He will not tolerate misbehavior and focuses on academics. The teachers are super! They care about the kids. They make learning fun! The PTA does a lot. I am sad to leave. No wonder the school keeps winning awards and parents in other schools often say, "Why do you get the best teachers and principal?" Cherry Laners, be sure you appreciate what you've got!

While the school is great for regular ed kids, if you child has special needs, this is NOT the school for you. My child is in 2nd grade and still not able to read!!!!!

Overall, Cherry Lane School has a terrific faculty and staff. You really can't complain about any of the teachers--solid. The Principal is very approachable and supportive. Most parents, not all, get involved in the school in some way. While no place is perfect, this school is close! The school also does a lot for kids who are bright. I really appreciate that as my child is above average and really is challenged during the school day. Best school in the district--hands down.

We love Cherry Lane for its amazing teaching and support staff!! Our kids WANT to go to school, never a complaint!
