My kids are pushed to learn and do well in many of their classes but for two years now the English department has been a joke. (with the exception of Mr. Forester). The other teachers, especially one I won't name that seems to think she's a high school student herself, don't seem to know how to teach or take the job seriously. My kids flat out tell me they aren't learning anything and their teacher thinks it's a good idea to play on her phone while the students listen to podcasts. We don't pay taxes for this. The school needs to get serious and fire these English teachers and get some that have a modicum of decency and intelligence.

With Pam Dean going to be running it next year there's no hope for them everything will still be below average because her attitude is below average.

I'm concerned about students future. There's a principal at the high school who doesn't care to investigate issues when they arise, so that maybe that same issue can be prevented in the future. All he wants to do is throw the children out. He's inconsiderate, cocky, disrespectful, uncaring and not passionate about his job.

I am concerned that more and more of the advanced classes are being "outsourced" to the community college for concurrent college credit. Teaching positions and courses are being eliminated as district loses population.
