    As a parent of a child with disabilities, this school is not able to provide a safe or good learning environment. The teachers mostly the main stream teachers are not at all experienced or willing to truly adapt to a disable child in their class. The school system insists that our special children be "typical", and be able to keep up both physically and academically the all the other children which is just not realistic. If you have a child with disabilities please consider a different school.

    Struthers Middle School is a great school. They seem to have alot of "old fashion" values. Yes they are strict on the rules however in order maintain control over the students I feel that they must be this way. My son takes full advantage of all the tutoring the school has to offer and they do offer help to all their students who ask for it. I have heard nothing but good things about the teachers there from my own children. Only complaint they seem to have about the school is the lack of choices they have for lunch. My only complaint is they should encoruage more parent involvement.
