It’s good to see that even though it’s been years since a review has been made things are exactly the same as the other times when reviews were last done. Administration is careless and harsh on the people who get picked on all the while the bullies get lighter discipline or no discipline at all. There is one good counselor hence the mental health not being abysmal. Front office staff is genuine and pleasant. Some teachers are good and care about the students. Otherwise not so much.

Terrible. The staff here does not even care about what happens. People get bullied because of their race and sexuality. If you don’t act a certain way you are not “popular”. The lunch is terrible, they don’t even try to make good food. The principals are way too strict. The cell phone policy is not fair, last year we were allowed to have them at lunch, but now we can’t. There is no fun or jokes in this school, its all just serious education. We only get 3 minutes to switch classes, which causes a lot of people to be late and get silent lunch. The lockers are small, you have to buy your own charger if you get an ipad from the school. This school in general is just terrible.

This school is atrocious! This was my children's first and last year at this school. You have teachers and principals at this school that do not care about the students and will tell the parents whatever they think the parent wants to hear at the time and that's as far as it goes. Once you walk out the door, the bull they just told you walks out too. I gave them one star only because I had to in order to post this review.

Carter Middle has some of the rudest teaching staff I have ever encountered! The principals are even worst. They act like their only goal is to get through the day and go home. The students mean nothing to them. The only caring people are the office staff! Admin. is never 'in' so problems never get solved! Will move if necc. just to get away from Carter!

I want to know where all the wonderful teachers have gone at Carter Middle School. Why are they all leaving? My daughter is a 7th grader there and has always been an honor student. She says the school environment is not good. She says the teachers are always sad and stressed and they don't seem to care for the administrators. I have always believed that attitudes reflect leadership. I just want to know what has happened to all of the great teachers that have been there. Only one or two could have retired. Those teachers have made Carter a great school in the past. We need them to come back
