Tyler Skills School is a gem. The teachers are knowledgeable and caring. Students are treated with the respect. More parent participation would be appreciated.

Tyler Skills School is a place that holds respect, productivity, and safety in high regard. Your experience at Tyler is what you make of it. If you want to work hard to achieve your goals, the faculty & staff are very supportive and will help you make that happen. Unfortunately, if your goal is to be disrespectful, defiant, and unmotivated, the school hasn't found a way to change you.

I wouldn't recommend this school some of the teachers are good but they need new office staff the ones there are very rude and never know what's going on. The principal needs to go too.

When I first came to Tyler I was welcomed by friendly and dedicated staff who always put the needs of their students first. They share the same goals and values we would want our students to grow up knowing and living by: being respectful, productive, and safe. My experience at this school has been overwhelmingly positive because of the immensely supportive staff and fellow educators.

I agree that some staff can be extremely unable to communicate with, but my child has been attending this school for over 3 years now and she very much enjoys it. Most teachers are easy communicate with, but should have more parent teacher conferences.

My child has been at Tyler for 3 years now. The only complaint I have is that the teachers need to communicate better with parents. Otherwise all three teacher my child has had have been awesome & very involved with my child.

Worst school that I have ever had my children in. Please don't put your kids in this school. The teachers are not tolerant of the children and the principal has no backbone
