I am aware of how difficult the transition these years of middle school can be for a child, but it was more difficult for my nephew due to the passing of his father. The school has been amazing in its support of his. Not only did they go to the effort of sending him a comfort basket from the teachers, but it contained all the things he enjoys most, even including a collection of novels in the style he enjoys reading. This was a good indication to me that his teachers took the time to understand who he was as a person, something I feel is essential in providing a top quality education. This was further evidence to me in the efforts put forward to help him as he experienced difficulty adjusting to the trials that pre-teens go though, learning to express themselves and fit in with their teachers and peers. I believe that they are going above and beyond in providing a caring and devoted approach to learning and the wellbeing of our children. My great thanks to the many teachers such as these, whose hearts and actions show that teaching is not just a job, but a calling.
