Stapleton School is amazing. It feels like a private school. The teachers are incredible and the principal goes above and beyond for the students. He knows all students by name and welcomes them. A great school with a small town feel!

Stapleton School is phenomenal. It really reminds me of what elementary school was like when I was growing up in a small town. The teachers genuinely care about their students, parental involvement is high, and the school is the center of the community. My children are receiving a terrific education and they love to go to school. Some of the other reviews here must be from a disgruntled parent. I can't possibly imagine they are talking about the same school. Along with the teachers, the principal is very supportive and has been nothing but helpful to our family. Stapleton is a well-hidden gem, you won't find a better place for an education.

I am very surprised to read the negative comments about Stapleton School, because we have had a wonderful elementary-school experience! My daughter is about too graduate 6th grade, and she has enjoyed loyal and engaged teachers, a challenging-but-fair syllabus, a great group of friends, and non-academic enrichment activities. We're ready for seventh grade. Thank you, Stapleton School!

Miserable. The Administation (the principal) chooses the staff and their well-being over the young students who attend this school. Having a background in early childhood education, I find this school deplorable. Adults (teachers and coaches) bully young children (students) and the principal sees nothing wrong with this. When talking to parents he is very condescending and arrogant. Most conversations with parents sound as though he is talking to a young child and not grown adult. The physical and emotional as well as the educational well being of the students at this school are not being met. A very disappointing experience considering they have a rating of an 8. This is not the only year that these problems have existed. It is an ongoing problem. Parents concerns are often swept under the rug.

The principal still talks to parents like they are first graders. A teacher belittles a 5 year old in front of the class. They don't use positive reenforcement, they use skittles. Are they serious?

My child is going to be removed from this school asap! We have had nothing but problems! the principal talks to the parents as if we are first graders, my child is constantly coming home with bad remarks and now getting him to go to school in the morning is a fight!! I should have just put him in Rockwell to begin with! The teachers say that my child is behind but I have had teachers from other schools evaluate him and they all say that he's right on track!! I would NOT reccommend this school to ANYBODY!

Stapleton Elementry is a wonderful school. The administrative staff and teachers are talented caring individuals. The school is equivalent to private school. I have a child who will complete 6th grade this year and a 3rd grader. They are very proud of their school. The gifted education program is excellent. The school has band and afterschool programs, such as violin, guitar, tae kwon do, chorus, chess and others. The sense of pride and smiles on the children and teachers faces make Stapleton Elementary the best.
