terrible, constant fights where blood litters the lockers, if you get abused and bullied by other students all you can do is run as FAST as possible to escape danger.

Olympia I don’t know where to begin, but overall I would say shame. You walk into the school and you see people getting bullied and yelled at all the time. Administration never handles it properly either. I would not recommend this school. Teachers are not supportive either. I think other schools could blow this school out of water.

This place is not what it used to be. It has changed over the years and it for the better. The school prides sports and does not look at the education part of the school any longer. Kids are shoved with state tests constantly. The new grading system babies the kids and is just a way to make the parents not understand what their kid is learning. The kids aren’t really learning anymore. Olympia is not what it was 25 Years ago. If you want your kid to become part of the dropout statistic from Spartland (Heartland), then send them here!

I am a former student here and this school is terrible. I constantly get bullied and the school doesn't do anything about they sweep it under the rug and pretend it didn't happen. My had to threaten to press charges in order for the school to do something. The teachers are mean and very unreasonable. This school is the worst school in the entire world. Doooooo not send your kids here.

Olympia High School was a wonderful place to spend my freshman year. I hold the students, the faculty, and the school itself in very high regard; I don't understand how it has only been given a three-star ranking out of five.

Olympia High School is unique - it involves ALL students of every genre of life. You can be involved in music and sports, agriculture and student government, art and advanced curriculum. I am proud to be an Olympia graduate and always felt welcome no matter who my parents were, what I was or was not involved in, or my ethnic background. The teachers were kind, caring, and respectful. I would have preferred more diversity as a student, however, I feel that the school tried to incorporate as many opportunities as possible to make everyone feel welcome. Thank you Olympia - Go Spartans!

I feel that students attending Olympia High School have the opportunity to receive a quality education. And to be part of school activities to broaden their skills to prepare for the next part of their education.

I have never found a school atmosphere that I felt was more comfortable, efficient, caring and capable than that of Olympia. Yes, there have been ups and downs as employees, board members, and families come and go, but overall, it does not compare with any school system I've ever encountered. The size is perfect, and the activities are outstanding considering the size. They keep a wonderful balance of focus and human perspective in all parts of the school experience. I'm currently teaching in another district and am earnestly hoping to return to Olympia some day.
