This is a very nice and clean school. The student body is small which keeps the whole environment close knit. There is no drama or bullying tolerated in this school. The students are respectful of each other. The work is not easy, lots of assignments. Students must apply themselves and work hard. The uniform policy is not that strict so that's not a big deal. The PFO works hard to support the school and students.

Drama free, drug free, and honestly very calm and supporting environment. Dream school for students who want to get a head start in future careers with the trade courses that are offered at the school.

This school is a great school , the only thing that is missing is better staff. I Am a senior at this school and during my years here am going to be leaving the school , with nothing, the only class the I could say that I have learned from was math(no thanks to the teacher) but to the math program “Aleks “ other then that , their is nothing!

What an awful school! Academics are a joke, most of the teachers are very disorganized and have no idea what assignments they are giving us. Uniforms were not all that bad until they released the pants on the second year of opening. Next year, in 2018, particular shops are changing the dress code involving footwear. Every year I am required to put down more money on some sort of stupid addition to the uniform, this year being the pants. Next year it will likely be or Wright Tech shoes or boots. This school has a massive amount of potential, however, certain "elite" people in the CTHSS system are hindering the progress and growth of the school.

I went to Wright tech for my freshman year of highschool. In order to remain anonymous I will refrain from saying which school year, but it was after the schools reopening in the 2014 school year. The academic side is just so terrible. But that is to be Atleast somewhat expected from a trade school, although they did promise an excellent high school education I didn't expect then to live up to it. What really bugged me was the trade side. First off, the electrical and digital media teachers and a science teacher have left since I've left the school. But the worst part was that I felt like I learned nothing in my time in electrical. I knew as much leaving the school about electrical as I did when I joined the school after reading a couple articals about electrical wiring. Currently there are four people in the sophomore class and the junior class. I know for a fact that another one if the sophomores wants to leave but is forced to stay by his parents. We had 22 1200 computers in the classroom last year that our teacher didn't know what to do with at all. Most of the time was spent doing nothing, and you could get a 100 on homework as long as it was turned in during the quarter. The only program that you actually learned stuff from was health tech. All the other programs were pretty much done after the first year, if that. They have yet to find replacements for the electrical or digital media teachers. I thought they would Atleast try to give us an academic experience close to normal high schools, but they didn't. The academic teachers teached similarly to the fifth grade teachers, giving multiple retests full credit for homework up to 2 weeks late. The material we were taught was similar to sixth grade material. They gave us computers, but they barely knew what they were doing with them. They also only allowed these dinky little drawstring bags that broke immediately. The replaced them, but the bags were still too small for me to have my binder, laptop, charger and book inside without breaking it. The school was not at all thought through. I regret ever believing that this school could give me a superior education, and I deeply regret the year of my life I feel I have wasted at this school. I have now transferred. In my math class alone there are 5 people including me that have transferred from Wright tech. Please do not waste your time at this school like me

I graduated from Wright Tech in 1964. It was the best experience of my life. I went to public schools and was not challenged. My father a engineer realized this and enrolled me at Wright Tech. My scores went from failing to honor. The experience gave me the confidence to do anything I chose. I have never been unemployed and have used the skills and confidence I got from Wright Tech to live a very good life. I am almost 70 years old and still use the skills I gained while attending school there. Anyone with a child with a interest in a trade should strongly consider sending their child to J. M. Wright Technical school. Thanks for a great life, B. Lawrence
