    I went to Phelps once a week throughout elementary school and, to this day, some of my best education memories are rooted here! If only every child could experience this type of learning! It was so very wonderful and educational.

    I have 3rd grader who goes here, and we both love it! It offers a wide variety of classes for kids in the gifted education program, everything from art to physic to the Titanic. The teachers and staff are amazing and are great with both students and parents. All in all a fantastic school.

    I went to Phelps one day a week from 2nd through 5th grades as part of a gifted education program. It promotes critical thinking, allows students to explore their interests, and teaches them how to interact with others in a group setting. They also added on a giant new library section after I left!

    Ok, there is no principal at Phelps and "coordinator" Lenae Lazzelle... well, we think she's a phantom because we've never seen her. The good news is that they don't need her. It's a wonderful program full of bright, understanding teachers. And the jewel in their crown is the leadership of Jeannie McLaughlin, librarian and coordinator of many other programs. Phelps does a fantastic job!
