  The community that the school is in, I believe is lower to lower middle class, it is a pretty nice area overall. I can't speak for all the students, but I hope many of them are excelling.I can't see it being an easy place for any normal tempered child to learn. Middle school is already a very tough age bracket/environment for kids.So many of the students here are totally out of control with fist fights I imagine the staff barely has time to do their job teaching and/or advising, because they're either witnessing or breaking up fights on a daily basis.I don't see the situation getting any better until the students that are responsible have their cell phones taken away, because the taunting escalates at home on their cell phones via text message and social media, and takes place in the school. Just go on social media and search for chestnut fights and you'll see what I mean. Maybe the school district can offer or require a course for parents on proper parenting techniques and/or rules specifically for teenagers, before entering middle school and high school, during the summer before each school year starts, even if it's for specific problem students. ...More Reviews
