We love wikcox, it’s an amazing school! Our son is in his last year here and our daughter is in kindergarten. I love that this school doesn’t put up with bullying, I love that it’s a smaller school, and everyone knows eachother. I have a good relationship with the parents and my kids and I have both made several friends through this school. I feel comfortable with asking teachers anything regarding my children’s needs or any concerns. The nurse, speech pathologist, secretary all are amazing as well! I have really enjoyed being a room mom in my daughters kindergarten class and am now on the pto! I have several relatives who are teachers in 186 district and this is one of the best elementary schools I always hear! It’s tucked back in our neighborhood we can walk here from our house and I can see the kids playing at recess! I always feel as though my kids are safe and happy at school!

This school is a diamond in the rough. I can not say enough good things about it. The Principle is very caring and calm. His door is always open if you have any problems or concerns. I have a daughter with ADHD and the teachers have been very helpful with diagnosing her and working on strategies to put her on the right path. This fall a kindergartener was diagnosed with brain cancer and the PTO put together a fundraiser for him in 2 weeks (right before Christmas) and we more than exceeded our expectations for this event. I will always love this school.
