I have two children enrolled. Both have had good experiences despite being very different. I have on occasion had a difference of opinion with a teacher but they’ve always been respectful and interested in helping my children and honest with me. My kids are safe here and they are doing well academically. I love that they meet kids of all different backgrounds.

Overall I love the school.. You can only get in via a lottery which my granddaughter was picked for in kindergarten and has been there ever since. She is now in 7th grade they go up to 8th grade. I wish they would extend to high school. Her 1st teacher saved her She had ADHD and she was all over the place and she gave her structure while not holding her behavior against her and treating her meanHer name is Amy Mayland, and she gave her the discipline and the structure that she needed so badly which allowed her to flourish..I don't know what I would have done without this school. She's now on the honor roll every year..The only negative I have to report is that since Ball Charter is a charter school, I feel like they could take advantage of some things that they don't..For instance I would ditch the common core math, embrace music and art. Don't get me wrong they have music and they have art and I really like their programs but remember when we were growing up and we had a musical instrument? I wish they would take part in things like that, things that I experienced as a child that they don't seem to have around anymore.Like penmanship class. When you're a charter school you have the ability to do things that the public school system cannot do and I think they should take more advantage of that.

Exceptional! This school is academically challenging, pushing my daughter to be her best. The teachers and staff are so caring and involved. I love having my kids in this school, when my youngest starts this fall.

Great communication, lots of family events, great teachers and it's obvious they care about their students success. Thank you BC!

Love this school and so glad we were chosen in the city wide lottery. The teachers are all great, I see the kids during the day while volunteering and they are all happily learning. The have dedicated rooms and teachers for music, art, Spanish, technology/computers, PE, and library. They are always doing special events to keep the kids happy and engaged.

sucks so i don't want my kid here ever because the ratings are dumb and I don't like the children here picking on my boy.
