- Submitted by parent on September 26, 2013Hempstead is a great school, i love everyone the staff is wonderful, my kids have been there since kindergarten and really i have nothing bad to say about the school, all i want to say is thank you and God bless you all for all you do for the kids.
- Submitted by parent on October 28, 2012The teachers there are AMAZING! They're fabulous with the students, they go above and beyond my expectations and truly work for the children! The Principal is one wonderful woman! She is a leader with total enthusiasm for ALL the students and staff!!! She learns the names of all the students within the first few weeks of school. She greets the students as they come off the bus; she has anouncements that are enthusiastic and make the students WANT to listen. The parent involvement could and should be better, esp at these grade levels. The school overall is an amazing place to be, although the budget cuts have hurt their staffing significantly! (But that is the same in all schools of the district.)
- Submitted by parent on October 12, 2012Anyone who rated this school under 5 stars obviously has never been there. It is lead by one of the best principals of all time. The staff is a cast of star studded standouts. It is a privileged to attend this school and it is a school to be modeled for the rest of America to follow.
- Submitted by parent on March 22, 2011Hempstead is an amazing school. The teachers are wonderful and so dedicated to each and every student. My daughter is finishing up 6th grade and going onto middle school next year, and will really miss Hempstead. As a parent I can honestly say my daughter is well prepared for the future and has the knowledge and confidence to do anything she puts her mind to. For this I will always appreciate the education she received at Hempstead.
