My daughter is in special needs pre-K at Ford and absolutely loves her teacher! Her teacher communicates well with us and shows genuine concern for our daughters learning and is very caring towards her. Our daughter has made great strides and has learned so much her first year coming here (she came over from Houser elementary). We have notice big improvements in her speech and over all knowledge for her age. I do not understand all the negative reviews? I know Ford isn't t perfect but no school is. I guess it just depends who your child's teacher is but our daughters teacher and even her teachers assistants have all been great with our daughter!

This school sucks, it doesn’t give teachers the right support. Admin is heartless and deceptive and they blow.

Horrible school the teachers don’t teach. I had kinder teacher tell me she has grandkids, a husband and kids to look after.Your personal life has nothing to do with your job which is to teach our children. Two others in my neighborhood has pulled their children fromThe lack of teaching. These teachers are burnt out.

The teachers go above and beyond to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. They genuinely care about each student's progress, tailoring their teaching methods to suit individual needs and abilities. Their unwavering support and commitment have played a crucial role in my children's academic success and personal development. The school's commitment to promoting critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and teamwork has undoubtedly helped my children become confident and well-rounded individuals.One aspect that sets Ford Elementary apart is its inclusive and diverse community. The school embraces students from various backgrounds, cultures, and abilities, creating an environment of acceptance and respect. It has been heartwarming to witness the friendships formed, and the celebration of differences within the school community. The emphasis on character education and instilling core values like empathy and kindness has had a profound impact on my children's social skills and overall character development.I cannot speak highly enough of Ford. The new principal, Mrs. Harris has done a great job - there are dedicated teachers, paras, & staff to help each day.

Wish they could handle bullying better. A better approach to bullying is need. Instead of just disciplining kids AFTER the bullying has happened. Especially if the bullying is a repeated offense. More should be done so our kids aren't fearful of attending school.

We moved to the area in the middle of the school year last year and both of my children (1st and 4th grade) LOVE this school!! We have a special needs child that has struggled in the past with her academics, however, this year (4th grade) she has done the best then in her previous few years. The staff is wonderful and very friendly, we have been very pleased with the teachers, assistant principals, office staff and nurse Hamilton!! Everyone is always pleasant to deal with and they all must love there jobs because it shows in their attitude! The teachers are all patient, helpful and understading when it comes to both of my kids but especially my daughter who struggles in math and language arts. I can not say enough about how great they all are! You will be very pleased if you have the opportunity to have your kids in this school!!
