    My son attends River Valley Middle School and we all love it. He's in sixth grade this year. I have been extremely impressed with the whole staff and the way they work with students. Teachers have set times they can help kids during study halls, which makes it very easy for the kids to get the help they need. High expectations of all students.

    River Valley has a great school district. There are challenges for sure, but everyone is committed to working it out. I really feel that the teachers, staff and administrators care deeply about the students and the community. Budgets are tight and choices are hard, but everyone seems to be doing their best. Sure, there is room for improvement, but my son is in 4th grade and has gotten an excellent education so far.
