Last year (2017/2018) I would have given 5* but this year i'm gravely disappointed.

We have loved the teachers, kids and family's. The school is beautiful and provides a great learning experience for our littles. I have been very happy with GE.

1st grade teacher was great and our kid seemed to really excel and love it! 2nd yr teacher was awful. It was noticeable that our kid, who once loved math and reading, now struggled. Poor behavior emerged but the teacher wasn't evaluated. Our kid was! "I hate school" is horrible to hear a child say but we hoped it was just a matter of adjustment. 3rd yr teacher seemed motivated to help our bright but active kid. Better than 2nd yr but still not great improvement. I feel like there is a missed opportunity at work here. Too much time spent pushing kids to follow national standards in academics rather than focusing on the individual kid. They are just a number not a name. And that is sad. The school would have gotten 1 star had it not been for some good teachers, good location and the awesome valet lady. My opinion is that the school; has bad political policy, some mediocre teachers, uber sensitivity to civil liberties, lack of safety for kids, unbalanced emphasis on academics, decline in social activities and misguided fundraising programs. There seems to be no common sense. We give our precious children to the school each day. We entrust that the very basic of rules of propriety are instilled, that they are healthy, safe and learn. The rest is ours. There is room for improvement but we have to speak up! I would say this school is in btw "bad and average". I really wanted to love this school!!!!

If your child is bored you will not find help here. This school is really great at teaching to students who are under standards. They will not offer your child extra work or something different than what the other children are learning. Then they took zero responsibility for their inability to teach. I do not appreciate this school.

I love Greenacres. I absolutely adore the new office staff and the new principal. The teachers are wonderful, creative and nurturing. My children have enjoyed going to Greenacres for 5 years now. Both the new principal and the previous one love children and put them first. I am so impressed with the respect the staff has for one another and for the parents of their students.

The Leadership and Staff are one of the best in Central Valley area. Feel lucky to have had my children pass through.
