    Our first year at the school was wonderful. Then my child was diagnosed with a disability. The principal and teachers fought with me about providing adequate help. My child was assigned less work instead of getting assistance. My child's scores went way down. It has taken the last 3 years to catch back up to grade level.

    Our daughter is currently in 2nd Grade at Shelters and our experience over the past 3 years has been great! The teachers and staff care deeply for the kids and I believe my daughter is receiving a top rate education because of this.

    Went there in 08 and 07 but I had a horrible 2nd grade teacher who hated me since I was of Hispanic descent and would bully me on that and tried to hold me back ! school did nothing
