- Submitted by parent on August 12, 2018I would give this school a 10/10...The Abeka Curriculum keeps the students challenged and engaged. Students learn to read using phonics and most schools don't really teach phonics and decoding as effectively as it was taught when I was in school. I especially love that the students learn about God and apply it to their lives. If you are looking for a tuition affordable private Christ Like school that uses a strong academic curriculum with small class sizes, then VLC/CTA is the perfect school for your child.

The curriculum is stringent enough to keep the students challenged and engaged. The class sizes are very small so the students receive a lot of one on one instruction. The Abeka cirriculum keeps the student well ahead. The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive.

- Submitted by other on February 01, 2013This is a great school for my preschool daughter. She has learned independence, social skills, and of course in an educational environment. This is a well kept secret in Southfield.
