Saint Joseph High School made the process easy and worked with my child to make her feel comfortable. Changing schools in 10th grade can be difficult, but School Choice and St. Joe made this dream a reality for my daughter. She was able to research this option on her own and complete the process with genuine care and concern from the school. I'm so happy for her and sincerely thank Saint Joseph High School and School Choice for a choice that will shape the future of my daughter.

I am a student at St. Joe, and I feel amazingly happy and well-served. The education at St. Joe is fantastic, with great programs all-around including especially strong departments in Social Studies, World Languages and Mathematics. A great deal teachers are supremely qualified and fantastically devoted. The environment is very faith-based, friendly, and learning-centric; the culture is very nurturing, and everyone at St. Joe is a wonderful friend to me. Of course, no school is perfect; there are your share of drug users, and of lazy students, and of excessively snobby people, and general unpleasant company (these things can be found everywhere you look); there can be somewhat an excessive emphasis on sports (from the athletes specifically), and the English department, while strong overall, could have some more dedicated teachers; but there are also many, many smart, kind, patient, gentle, hard-working, well-behaved, friendly, motivated students and friends (again, these can be found at every school if you look hard), the education is fantastic, there is no problem with violence or such misbehavior, and the students by-and-large display excellent Catholic character. It's marvelous.

This School is well, as a student I feel as though teachers are power hungry and angry all the time. This makes me scared to participate in classes. I feel I am always being criticized, and teachers are jus waiting for me to mess up. I guess what keeps me going is I want to prove them wrong. I talked to many of the students and they feel the same way. Also many of the fun activities have been watered down and cut out from the school. Overall I feel the tradition at Saint Joe has died and with it the spirit of the name.
