We recently purchased a home in the Cascade View boundaries. We are so happy with Cascade View and the community here. Such a loving and caring staff!

Cascade View is an amazing elementary school with one of the most engaging and caring staff I’ve ever met. My kindergartener is having a blast and has come so far in regards to her learning and socializing. I had my doubts with some ratings of this school. But now that I am part of the community, the school speaks for itself. The principle Mr. L is fantastic. Mrs. Fox is honestly one of the most incredible teachers I’ve met. I haven’t met any staff that isn’t kind. On top of that the community is strongly supportive of this great school. I would highly recommend this school as I’ve had great experiences with both my kids (a 2nd grader as well)!

This school is amazing. Mr. L's message of demonstrating acts of kindness seems to get through. He also is outside every morning greeting the kids and giving them Hi 5s. We have had a completely opposite experience then the post before. Bullying is addressed quickly. In fact, my second grader talks often about the anti bullying message that is conveyed to the kids. The kids seems very sweet and accepting. There is a no child eats alone and no child plays alone initiative. The buys seem to have buy in. We love this school and Mr. L seems to be doing a great job.

School is overcrowded. Teachers are rude to the students and parents. The principal doesn't address concerns of bullying or harassment. Instead he tells the everyone that the school is magical and bullies don't exist at the school. There is a no homework policy so you never know if you student is failing or doing well.

The new principal Mr. L is fantastic. We recently moved here from out of state and my son's teacher was incredibly helpful in dealing with some behavioral issues he had while dealing with the adjustment period. All the teachers and staff I've met seem to really love the students. CVES is a very positive environment and I love that the special needs kids they have are visible, included and well-accommodated.

Wonderful new principal this year at CVE!! The teachers are terrific! They have gone out of their way in helping my kids succeed academically! Fantastic special ed programs there as well which one out of my 3 kids is a part of. Wonderful special ed teachers! My kids enjoy school and look forward to going each week. They are always telling me that they like school! To me, this is big!!:) They also have a great school motto this year which is "caring for yourself, caring for each other and caring for our school." They really follow through with emphasizing this and doing random acts of kindness for one another. Love it!

We love CVE! Alot has changed since there is. New principal. No child will go hungry even of that means charging your account with a zero balance. Which may seem like a hassle but I'd rather know that if my child forgot his lunch from home he would still get to eat. The new principal is wonderful, he has such a passion to make our school great and make sure that other students care for the school, themselves and others. The ladies in the office are so nice and happy! My son is learning alot in Kindergarten and I love how his teacher strives to help the kids learn and have fun!

This school was great but the office ladies left and they were pretty amazing ....hard shoes to fill . On top of that there is a lot of controlling not listening to the parents petty drama .Thinking about homeschooling this year so I know where my kids are better communication with respect for both parties is a must hope they fix it ..not so much teachers just Maine office :-(.

I have 2 children at CVE and our first year in 2011 was a little bumpy administratively and organization. Since 2012, the addition of a new principal and focus on current and competitive curriculum to challenge and foster students has made a huge difference. The majority of teachers are compassionate and supportive. With a small town, family feel CVE is on it's way to becoming a very desirable school in Snohomish.

I have two students that attend this school and this will be the last year my children attend. I have had so many problems with prinicpal since my eldest son started there. She seems to single out certain kids and once they are in her scope she will find any tiny thing and run with and make it bigger than it really is. My sons first year there I walked into the school find his teacher with her hands wrapped as tight as they could be around my sons wrist holding his arms behind his head walking him face first into a brick wall, when this was brought the the attenton of Meyers she did nothing about it. I cant wait to be out of this school.
