My son has an IEP and this school goes above and beyond to make sure he succeeds. His teachers are amazing and the principal is very involved. He has been to all 3 Smithfield elementary schools and Old County is by far our favorite.

I think the teachers are wonderful, the principal knows every students name and teaches them songs each morning. The vibe in the school is positivity and enthusiasm. No teachers thus far have seemed to have any kind of impatience with children.

I would like to take this opportunity to share my input on Old County Elementary. I have experience with other public schools in RI. However, by far I have to rate Old County Elementary as one of the best. I attribute this to the Principal Mrs. Sullivan and the teachers. There seems to be a synergy amongst them all. Mrs. Sullivan is hands on and involved with her students & their families. She is very knowledgable, helpful, responsive and caring. The teachers exude the same attitude. Its refreshing to know that with all the responsibilities they have, provide a personal touch. I feel secure and confident my child is in great hands. Old County, keep leading & setting the high standards. Denise L.

I was purposely deceived and any concerns I raised were dismissed. The school has caused much grief and pain to my children. I would not recommend this school to anyone.
