Fantastic school-supporting students during a challenging time in their lives. Caring responsive teachers, diverse program and excellent special education support. Unlike many schools today, SMS has superior music, art, and outdoor education opportunities-Reflecting the values of the community.

The Principal does not care about the kids, just keeping his job. We had several meetings and got nothing done, He also claims the last principal before him lost my sons complete records. Lies total lies

This is the most successful school to go to, I started as a student and found A everlasting with amazing community, not much happened to me as high school rolls on but as I found nothing further with any school of this generation then to what this school gave me, this is thy best solution for kids rearing special and statistically above psychologically advanced kids of other schools.

These two reviews are clearly written by someone who is disgruntled and operating in the victim mentality. Sisters Middle School routinely performs well above every measurable standard that the state of Oregon uses. Teachers are hard-working, approachable and fair. The counselor goes out of his way to take care of a variety of student needs. The support staff should all be paid twice as much because they are so helpful to students who need one on one support. It's frustrating to see that two people chose to slam the school. People move to Sisters precisely for the quality care their children get. It is a safe school with high standards. The only knock I have is that budget cuts have caused class sizes to be fairly large the past three years.

Sisters schools used to be great. The students used to be the priority. But now the priority is what is most convenient for the principle, secretary, counselor, etc. Most of the really wonderful teachers that were there have moved away or been let go.

I have been going to sisters schools for quite sometime, and sisters middle is bad. there is nothing to do in sisters if you are not the athletic type(which i am not!) which turns alot of the students to drugs/achohol.the people here are not very nice and the teachers use the students to fight with eachother
