Hunt School has been a great place for my kids. It serves a very diverse population, like the previous reviewers mention. The teachers at Hunt are committed to the success of their students and that has been obvious from day one. Test scores only tell a small part about a school; many kids here are struggling with larger issues outside of the classroom and may not have had the chance for early childhood education, not to mention having to deal with lower earning power and all the challenges that come with that. There can be a lot of catching up that must be done in the classroom. Despite that, my children have been appropriately challenged when needed and I find the dedication of the principal, teachers and staff to be exemplary.

My child attended Hunt for 5 years. It is very diverse. Also, very strict with military style control of the children. No speaking in lunch line or you must stand up and eat, you can only speak quietly with the child directly next to you while eating, that kind of stuff.

Hunt is a very diverse school with wonderful teachers who care about the kids. With diversity comes a host of other issues that must be dealt with, but the staff and faculty at Hunt remain dedicated to meeting the needs of the kids in their care to the best of their ability.
