I went to this school I loved the teachers I had but I didn’t enjoy it there. The rules weren’t great, I couldn’t wear anything with a hood on it and shorts were basically out of the question for girls because they had to be really long. I didn’t have many learning opportunities like higher level classes and there are no clubs or after school activities. There was things going on when I was there for my last year and the principal I had at the time didn’t do anything and the person who was causing all the issues barely got punished. After I graduated and went to high school I loved school because I have more challenging classes and there are clubs and sports.

My son attended Fell Charter for 6 uninterrupted years, beginning in 1st grade. SOOO many things to share but most important to know is: This school has fallen from grace over the years- In their curriculum benchmark standards (not offering second language or music/drama class to middle schoolers), does not foster inclusion of parental input (through a PTA or open board meetings), and is inconsistent with policy procedures for covid standards and disciplinary actions.

Grandson has been in this school for many years with on and off success. This past year however has been the worst. He is one of the virtual students. His teacher has bullied him on more that one occasion. It got to the point that he hated school even though he was home and on his laptop. The principal accepted the teachers version and was not a supporter of student learning. He is an A and B student, so grades were not a problem. Since leaving the school recently his attitude and whole demeanor has changed. I would never recommend this school to anyone. Letters were written to the school board but there were no replies from them.

My Grandson goes to Fell Charter School and I'm very impressed with their curriculum and that they are very positive with the students. They emphasize " honesty and kindness" and help the students to be all they can be and to attain a good education.... I see a huge difference in my grandson since he's been attending Fell Charter.. They are all like family and the staff truly works to help the students to be all they can be while getting a wonderful education. I wish the school went up to 12th grade. Fell Charter is one of the finest schools with a remarkable Principal who has put her heart and soul into the students and the school. I give it an A+.......

No art class, no instrumental instruction, poor website that doesn't get updated enough, poor communication between staff and parents, extremely long class hours with homework each night for children. No bathrooms on the upper level of the school ... Everyone must walk down the stairs to use the restroom. The gym is crazy small with windows that do not open and no AC to keep it cool. Teachers are flushed in and out of the school. They can't keep the same staff year after year.

Fell Charter Elementary School is an amazing opportunity for the children who attend there. You can't find a better Charector Education, Hands On Learning, Involved staff, Nurturing Environment or Challenging school. I have had one graduate from there and go on to a successful High School experience at Scranton Preparatory School and the other is not far behind. The amount of work that seems to flow very naturally from the caring teachers and staff really does give them a great foundation. Couldn't be happier about the brand new school. I know a lot of hard work is put into the students in MANY MANY ways. Thank you Fell Charter!

Fell Charter School is absolutely fantastic. Sure in such a small area charter school are looked upon in a negative light. However, that negative light has always steamed from misinformation about what charter schools are and what they offer. I you are looking for a Bully-Free zone for your child to excel, Fell Charter School is the place for you and your child. The faculty and staff at Fell are very supportive and caring. The great thing about Charter school is that we hold our teachers accountable. This ensures each child has a teacher who is working their very best each and every day that they interact with your child. Plus they are currently building a BRAND NEW SCHOOL.. Where is the debate? this is a great opportunity for any child.
