Overall, our experience has generally been very positive. Teachers care about the kids, and spend quality time working with them. However, there is certainly some ongoing concern related to high teacher turnover that seems to be influencing the continuity and quality of instruction across the curriculum. Of course, some turnover is common, but I would carefully investigate the issue of teacher turnover as you decide what school you want your child to attend. In addition, although pricing structures are difficult to compare across Catholic schools, for most families St. Robert will be significantly more expensive than other North Shore schools, which is a newer development. For example, a number of years ago the cost was essentially identical between St. Robert and other North Shore schools, though nowadays the average cost for a family of 2 or 3 would be $1000 higher at St. Robert.

St Robert is one of the best schools I have experienced. As a former teacher in a public district, I was a bit hesitant to put my daughter in a private school. But our experience has been nothing short of wonderful. We adore the community of parents. The teachers are professional, compassionate, and well educated. The administration has been accommodating and informative. The curriculum is challenging but appropriate. There are several extra curricular opportunities. I know first hand that they make learning accommodations. We are thrilled to watch our daughter thrive at St Robert.

I must take issue with the last review stating that St. Robert's requires a change in leadership. While a lot of the parents at the school are nice, others are very entitled and get upset if things are not done 'their way'. Thankfully the Administration makes decisions on the basis of what's best for the school and it's students rather than cowtowing to the rantings of the entitled few. I would not be surprised if the last reviewer insisted on some special treatment, was denied and used this site to retaliate with a negative review. St. Robert's is wonderful! It's rigorous curriculum and dedicated teachers will prepare your child for any high school they wish to attend. I do think the curriculum may be a bit fast paced for kids with special learning needs (depending what they are) as it's resources for those kids are somewhat limited. But for students without such needs, this school is a gem!

This school use to be a premier school many years but in the last decade or so has faltered. Declining enrollment due to high teacher turnover, poor implementation of curriculum and poor leadership has contributed to it's decline. Change in Administration is needed.

Fabulous school - an alumna myself, many of my siblings went on to earn professional degrees (MD., PhD, DDS, etc) & my own son earned a medical degree & is also an alumnus. Strong Christian values; respect & empathy for one another - as well as service to the community. Strongly recommend to anyone who cares about their child.

Great school for normal children, not so great for kids with disabilities. Teachers were not incredibly supportive, despite testing. The school would not do any accommodations until they had official test results report in their hands, even though the results were given to them verbally months earlier. We have had to change schools to meet our child's needs academically.
