Wonderful administration, caring teachers, and the small school provides endless opportunities for my children to participate in. The small school culture provides a student focused learning environment for my children.

If you send your kids here don't expect them to be happy

This school is a joke! If you are a parent and are thinking about sending your kids here DON'T DO IT! I attended Brookside from the end of my sophomore year to my senior year. Before I moved here I attended North Ridgeville High School and that school is a whole lot better then Brookside. If you want to get an A in your classes without having to do homework then this school is for you! I had a teacher who would give you an A in the class if you went to the cafeteria to fill up his coffee cup!! North Ridgeville city school are way better! They have all the newest technology, all up to date text books, updated buildings and amazing teachers! The teachers at NRHS will go out of there way to HELP you, unlike the teachers at Brookside. So please do yourself a favor and reconsider!

Brookside has various programs that enhance the student's diversity in all areas. What I like the most is the genuine concern given by the staff toward the students.

As an alumni of this school, the teachers are very passionate about what they do and are always volunteering for extra-curricular activities and were always willing to help a student in need. Education was on par with state standards. We didn't have a big fancy library, or fancy new desks and computers...but we still got a great education from fabulous teachers. Sheffield Lake is a small town that might not look like Avon from the outside, but they are working on improving! Our old, small school was clean (I never saw a rat, not sure who posted that.) and well kept to the best of their ability. I highly doubt that much has changed in the 5 years since I graduated, except they are building a new school that looks phenomenal!

This High Schools Marching Band was a participant in the Stow Monroe Falls Band Show on 9/14/13. They were outstanding. They had fun and seem to respect their band director. I am a parent from a different school who has a Marching Band student that performed at the same Band Show and was very impressed with their performance and the way they conducted themselves. Way to go Brookside High School Marching Band!

I was a parent and band booster of Barberton,Ohio. I saw your band at the Stow band shoew last sat, sept 14th. Over 30yrs of football games I was so impressed with your band show. As far as I was concerned it was the best performance of the night, and the best performance I have seen in years. The band and the directors of the band really got into there performance. I just watched in awe what was going to happen next. If we ever need a band director in the future i definately know who to recommend. Thank you for the great performance. Iknow iI wasn't the only one who gave this band a standing ovation. Keep up the great work, and I hope to see your band again in the furture. The students really got into there performance.

this community is very mistreated teachers get ipads instead of letting students get new chairs and desk. They also gave the teachers free massages in the library. This school is horrible rats walking all over same with bugs! If I were you i would move.

From an administrative standpoint, one of the poorest excuses for a school I've ever witnessed.
