    Teachers are amazing. Very solid sense of community among parents. But without a doubt, the most valuable asset of Mercer is its principal, Mr. Florence. His dedication is impeccable. He is always present, helping teachers and staff at whatever activity is at any day. You can tell he is a caring person, the way he talks to kids, parents, guardians, staff... he is a truly leader. We are very fortunate for having him as the principal at Mercer.

    We are so grateful we moved to Mercer and Shaker Heights. It is a caring place to send our children every day. The growth I have witnessed from my older child after she attended a private school is tremendous. The IB curriculum is a game changer for the way it teaches the students to look at the world around them. It is not just some “sticker” for the school. It weaves through everything and brings cohesion to all subjects. Thank you Mercer school!!
