- Submitted by parent on January 21, 2015My daughter started being bullied at the Shady Spring Middle School and it continued on at the High School. The answer was to ostracize my daughter and put her on homebound where she had no interaction with others of her age. The bullies got to stay in school and participate in sports and all the school activities. My daughter had the credits to graduate early except for 1 and the Board of Education would not let her take an extra class online or any classes online for that matter so she could graduate early and get away from this environment. In the long run she has ended up with PTSD, depression, and other anxiety issues.
