Our child was shown the door with no remorse or a modicum of grace period once we revealed that the child receives services through the Early Intervention Program. They loved our money, they discriminated against our child who is kind, sensitive, and playful. We have and will continue to do everything to ensure that our child is spending formative years in a place where they respect what everyone has to offer. There are plenty of options that do not involve this school.Once we moved in a class with “curriculum”, we realized that the school has zero idea how to conduct a nurturing, inclusive, kind type of education. LH has no special needs kids. Eventually, and especially in the “money maker” classes like infant and toddler, they pick favorites and if you are unlucky, you will be shown the door. The school abuses the teachers who are afraid of the greedy and heartless owners. Also, the owners have been trying (without luck) to sell the school for a few years now. No buyers yet, but we will never be coming back to this toxic masquerade of a glorified daycare (it is a daycare for all grades). If you care about your child, and you do, otherwise you would not be here, look around, or go public.

This school loves to put on shows and fake everything. They do not care about the children. They only care about the money they make. Teachers are overworked here and don’t perform how they should. Some teachers have there noses stuck up in the air. This is not a good school. Kids get good grades because teachers and administrators change answers.

This place is horrible. The owners only care about money and nothing else. Bullying goes on at this school and nothing ever seems to get resolved. They emotionally abuse their employees. Kids leave here and are no better than a public school kids. They are even below public school children at times.

The owners of the school are greedy. The place looks like it is run down. They charge us an enormous amount of money and they don’t fix things there. We have to purchase all our supplies and still pay a supply fee. Recommend you not send children there. The methods taught here don’t work. Everyone seems to get a 100 but then don’t know anything when they leave. Once gone they are average students upon entering new school.

Please do not work at this school or send your children here. The owners only care about money, not about the kids. They treat their employees terribly and emotionally abuse them. Stay far away

I will not send my child there again. Look around and you will find better options. I do not think this school is into education at all.

Teacher turn over at this school is relatively high. From our experience there is lack of transparency and you have to really go out of your way for the school to really communicate honestly with what is going on.

The Laurel Hill community has been so welcoming to us this year, our first at Laurel Hill. We are grateful for the opportunities our third grader has had, and for the dedication of his teachers (Ms. S. and Ms. J.). The education he is receiving will more than prepare him for his future. He is able to participate in many interactive and hands-on learning experiences. He enjoys going to school, and comes home happy and excited to tell us about his day. We are so glad that we made this choice.

We are so grateful that both our daughters, Lucia and Kayla are in such a loving environment created by Laurel Hill School. Lucia and Kayla are always happy every day when we drop them off and pick them up. They talk about what they have learned and what happened in their classes. We are reassured that they have a very good time every day at Laurel Hill School. Special thanks to Miss Mussen, Mrs. G., Miss D., Ms. P., and all the after school teachers, as well as the administrative staff for taking care of Lucia and Kayla. We really appreciate your hard work. Thank you!

We’d like to be able to directly/individually thank everyone for their obvious love, hard work and dedication. It is hard to know who does what, but the well thought out pedagogy, lesson plans and homework that follows both psychology and scholastic research seems like a true team effort. Mr. and Mrs. Stark, Ms. McClafferty and all of the other staff we’ve interacted with really love children as we can see both in their actions and in their smiles. We are blessed to have our daughter supported by a loving community at this critical stage of her life.

Amazing!! I can't say enough about the quality of the education and how I feel my children have learned 6 years of education in only 3 years of middle school. My daughter felt that she was years ahead of her high school classmates and was able to maintain an average greater than 95 in her freshman year.

I have seen such an amazing difference in my children as they go through the Laurel Hill School. I cannot imagine a better environment for them to learn in. From public speaking to writing skills, Laurel Hill teaches children important skills to help them succeed.

Our daughter receives a world-class education at Laurel Hill. With small classes and wonderful teachers who have the opportunity to focus on the needs of each student, they create life-long learners with critical thinking and public speaking skills with a global perspective.

I have three children who have been attending The Laurel Hill School since pre-school. They receive an extremely well rounded education in a very intimate classroom setting. Because of the small class sizes, the teachers are able to cater to each student's needs as they see fit. The children are exposed to a very diverse curriculum and I have found the results to be fantastic. My three absolutely love going to school there. Highly recommended!
