I am very proud to say that I teach at one of the most diverse and inclusive schools in Johnston County, NC. The teachers are dedicated and care about each students' education. Our administration staff is highly supportive to all staff and students. I am very blessed to be a part of Selma Middle School.

this school is not a school that i would have my child going to. mainly because the students don't feel right that they have to wear uniforms.

I had a respectful, well-behaved, straight A student attend this school. However, my student did poorly (emotionally) while at this school. The administrators treated my concerns about the school s environment with apathy and the Principle was extremely condescending. I cannot comment on the upbringings of the students that attend this school; however, I know from personal experience that students are not supervised or properly disciplined by the teachers and administrators. On a lighter note, one of my student's teachers taught wonderfully and the school consoler did what she could to help student that were trouble by the school s turbulent environment.
