If I could give it no stars, I would. Heartland Christian Academy was the worst when it came to teachers talking about their personal lives and their political beliefs. The teachers would INVOLVE themselves in the students drama, rather than work to end it. They constantly talked bad about some students to their class/to individual students. The planning for events was very poor, to the point that I went to spend time with my children and ended up working a stand the whole duration of the event. They teach the Bible, but do not teach to live what they teach. The math/language arts is behind when it came to putting my children in another school. One of my children didn't know how to read when he left there and was reading within the first week of their new school. Let's not forget that they hired a teacher without doing a background check (that had they checked, showed he was not allowed to teach) and ended up arrested for the very reasons he was not allowed to teach. There is a lot more I could say.

I am a former employee but my daughter also attends this school. As a former employer I have never been treated better by a staff and their leaders. I had to leave for my own personal reasons but this is one job I truly enjoyed my time their. The staff as well as the leaders are so genuine and loving and they treated every student with respect and love. My daughter loves this school and I will keep her there as long as I can. They teach her things about the Bible and God that I cannot. She is still just an innocent child but because of them she knows to think about what the Good Lord would do before making any decision. She has learned to respect others not just from me but from the school. Her teachers are very approachable I could address any issues I was having with my daughter and they responded immediately to resolve it. I know everyone has their own experiences but this is mine and it's from the inside looking in and the outside looking in and I've had nothing but positivity from this school. The students are so amazing and the staff is great. They handled covid so well I never felt unsafe going to work or sending my daughter to school. This is a safe place and they will lend a helping hand in a desperate time of need I can vouch for that personally as well I needed their help as I was struggling and they did not hesitate to bless me in a time of need. I will continue to be a part of the HCA family as my daughter grows and when my son is old enough to attend school he will become a part of this family as well. Thank you HCA for all of your love and support for my family and for being a great contribution to our community.

As a teacher and a substitute, this is an exceptionally good place to work. My colleagues are dedicated and caring. The students are very good and well behaved and the staff is friendly and cheerful.

If I could rate less then one star I would. They say they are going to take care of any concerns, but that never happens. My mom was threaten about my sisters being expelled because of my reviews on different websites. I'm not bad mouthing. I'm just telling my true experience at this school. My issues are on a News Facebook page.
